THE ORDER OF THE FEASTS

1. The feast of PASSOVER (Lev.23:5-14)2. The feast of PENTECOST (Lev.23:15-22)3. The feast of TABERNACLES (Lev.23:33-44)

• This three Feasts consist of SEVEN MAJOR EVENTS

1. THREE comprise – Passover2. ONE stand alone – Pentecost.3. THREE more in – Tabernacles.

THE FEAST OF PASSOVER CONSISTS

1. The PASSOVER.(Ex.12:1-23, Lev.23:4,5;Deut,16:1-3)

2. The UNLEAVEND BREAD (Ex.12:18;23:15,Lev.23:6-8)

3. The SHEAF OF FIRSTFRUITS ( Lev.23:10-14)• The PASSOVER event was on the 14th day of the 1st

month.• The Unleavened Bread continued from the 15th day

THE LORD’S SUPPER

1. Lk.22:1 – Jesus kept this Feast with His disciples• To fulfil all the righteousness of the Law• And to establish the New Covenant.2. Lk.22:15 – He desired to introduce them into a

new order of worship and fellowship in the spirit.• He gave His disciples the ordinance of Supper.• He finished the old ceremony that He might

establish the new.• 1.Cor.15:46; Lk.22:19-20;1.Cor.10:17

THE SHEAF OF FIRST FRUITS

• Mk.16:9• It was the beginning of Barley Harvest

THE FULFILMENT OF PASSOVER

• The Paschal lamb entered the city by the Mt. Of Olives.

• A great procession – having plam branches, singing Ps.118, followed it.

• The lamb was tied in the temple 4 days – for viewing.

• Jesus descended the Mt. Of Olives.• Followed same route as lamb (palm Sunday)• Same Crowd met Him with branches.• He taught 4 days in the temple cour

FEAST OF PASSOVER

• Deut: 3X’S a year – only males

• Historically 1st mentioned on Ex. 12:1-24,29-39

• Vs.2 – A new beginning – The cross begins a new era

• Vs.3 – A Lamb for an house – He was sufficient for ALL

• Vs.5 – A Lamb with out blemish – Jn.1:29, 1peter.1:18-

• Vs.6 –The Lamb must be killed – Heb.9:22 – blood

• Vs.7 – The blood must be applied – Rom.3:25-26• Vs.8-10 – The flesh must be eaten – ALL OF IT –

Jn.6:53-55, Luke.22:19

WHAT TO EAT

• In prayer and communion by the spirit in the spirit of readiness

1. The Head – mind, vision 2. The Legs – walk and life style 3. Inwards – motive in ward purpose4. Fat – strength, partaking anointing and

spirit 5. Bitter herbs – conflict as in fiery trials, test6. Unleavened Breads – from Barley , to

overcome

HOW TO EAT

• Vs.11-12 – The people will depart form Egypt 1. Eat with lions gridded 2. Shoes on there foot, readiness spirit • To leave old ways behind you have to have the

spirit of readiness to eat before you start eating.• Vs.13-14 – The blood is the sign –

Ex.12:13,Eph.1:6, 2Cor.5:21• The blood pay the penalty of Adam sin so that

death can’t touch a person who is under the blood of the Lamb.
