PREPARATION: Proper floor preparation and adherence to label directions are critical for

successful results. After the floor has been sealed, abrade entire floor with maroon pads (250

sq. ft. per side of pad). Tack the floor with Hillyard Court Prep®. Lay marking tape (Hillyard item

MIN212 marking tape is recommended) according to official game measurements. Roll or rub

inside edges firmly to prevent paint creeping under the tape. For retouching or re-marking

old floors, consult your Hillyard representative.

Application: MIX THOROUGHLY UNTIL UNIFORM. Apply a thin, uniform coat with a foam

brush or synthetic applicator. If the paint is applied by roller, feather using a synthetic pad to

ensure a smooth appearance. Allow the paint to dry at least one hour before removing the

tape. Turn on the exhaust system two to four hours after painting. After the paint has dried

at least 24 hours, abrade entire floor with maroon pads under a single brush floor machine. If

paint dries longer than 48 hours, abrade the entire floor with 150-120 grit discs. Tack before

applying finish.

NOTE: If after abrading, the floor sits for longer than 24 hours before being painted, re-

abrade and tack before painting to prevent peeling from occurring.

ATTENTION! Best results are obtained with adequate ventilation and floor temperatures

above 60°F (16°C). Avoid direct drafts on floor while painting. Do not store part-full contain-

ers of material for long periods of time. Do not pour unused material back into container.

Emptied containers may retain hazardous residue and explosive vapors. Keep away from

heat, sparks and flames. Do not cut, puncture or weld on or near this container. Follow label

warnings until container is thoroughly cleaned or destroyed. Brushes can be cleaned with

Hillyard Kleen-Up solvent.
