Stitch the light and dark strips together to make four units as shown. Use curved piecing to add one fabric A template G piece to each block quarter. Square up to 17 1/2" square.
Join the block quarters together and applique the fabric M template A piece to the center of the quilt. Quilt should measure 34 1/2" square.
Borders:Stitch the fabric N 1 1/2" x WOF strips to the quilt, mitering corners.
Cut two fabric L 6 1/2" x WOF strips in half. Add a whole strip to each piece to make four 1 1/2" strip lengths. Add to the quilt, mitering corners.
Applique:Prepare pieces for applique using your favorite method.Use placement guide to arrange applique pieces in each corner of the quilt as shown.Stitch appliques in place, with a piece of embroidery stabilizer beneath the quilt. This prevents the fabric from puckering when you stitch the pieces in place. Remove stabilizer when applique is complete. One corner of quilt is shown.
Layer, baste and quilt as desired.Bind with the fabric L 2 1/2" x WOF strips.
