, JANUARY HOA MEETING UPDATES: The Board Meeting took place at Creekside West Clubhouse due to Creek View being closed for Winter Break. The following issues were reviewed; Community Pools The Board approved an internet sys- tem to accommodate the new security gate system to be installed by Stanley Security. Pool repairs & replacements are being made to comply with County pool inspection & bids are being obtained to install a push bar on pool gates. Common Area Maintenance— A bid was approved to repair a broken backflow device that did not pass City in- spection. Repairs reviewed for termite damaged posts on bridges behind Pool #1. I am not positive but I think most kids my age avoid their parents, but I appreciate the time I spend with them! I am learning subjects I most likely wouldn’t learn in public school like Latin and Logic. Adventuring to my grandparent’s house or helping out a friend in need are just two ways I am able to use my school day for more than just academics. I will admit being home schooled is full of distractions and is some- times difficult, however I am now learning how to focus and pay attention. Occasionally, I am assigned books I would not have chosen to read and I find out I actually enjoy them for example… “Out of the Silent Planet” by C.S. Lewis and “The Hiding Place” by Corrie Ten Boom. Home schooling is perfect for me and makes learning exciting!
