160 A 1976 Seeley Honda CB 750 Café Racer, registrationnumber MLB 459P, framenumber SH7-622F, enginenumber CB750E2428678,yellow and white. Colin Seeleyproduced the archetypal CaféRacer of the 1970’s based on theHonda CB 750 seriesmotorcycles. His philosophy wasto make his bikes lighter, fasterand stronger, gleaned from hismany years in motorcycle racing.Colin produced approximately300 frame kits between 1975 -1978 (frame numbers 501-802)which were very expensivecosting £1295 in 1977. EachSeeley Honda is individual withvarious states of tune and thisone is no exception. This four owner Seeley has been fully rebuilt by itscurrent owner between 2001 and 2008 and hasn’t covered any miles since.The duplex cradle frame made from Reynolds 531 tubing is chromeplated. The engine has been fully rebuilt with a Yoshmura half racecamshaft and Cehein carburettors. There are ventilated twin disc frontbrakes with Grimeca calipers and a single rear Honda disc brake withstainless steel braided hoses throughout. All fittings are stainless steel, andthere is a new battery and new tyres fitted, the latter on the original Lesteralloy wheels. 161 A 1953 Lambretta LD150 Series 3, registration number TTM 760,turquoise and white. This Lambretta has had a complete restoration tonear concourse condition following a strip down to the last nut and bolt.The engine and mechanicals have had a complete rebuild includingbearings, seals, rings, brake linings, cables and other components.Anything that hasn’t been replaced has been fettled by an experiencedrestorer. To compliment the mechanical rebuild the frame and panel workhave been shot blasted, etch primed and repaired as necessary beforebeing re-sprayed in Two-Pack. All the chrome work has been replated orreplaced as necessary and as many of the original components have beenretained. This scooter was complete and original before this restorationand has been authenticated by the Lambretta Club GB. Whilst therestoration has been carried out to a high standard it is not too precious touse. The vendor has covered approximately 100 miles since therestoration and it said to ride as new. The Se4 offered for sale has the Ford Zephyr 6 engine withtriple SU carburettors and sports cam shaft, four speed gear box and sitson painted wire wheels. The Coupé has covered a believed genuine 54,567miles and has been maintained by TC Improvements (Reliant Scimitarspecialists) in recent years. Work includes a replacement rear axle in 2008for £1114.00 (bill on file), and an original new boot which needs finalpainting. It also benefits from a Longlife stainless steel exhaust.
