Not in Our HouseIts not often you see a running clock with a Class B team

beating up on a Class A team, but such was the case this past

Friday night as Glasgow hosted Glendive. Not only did the

Scotty offense dazzle the crowd, their defense was relentless

as Jason Thibault (#5) rejects the shot on a rare Red Devil fast

break being swarmed by Jake Page (#15), Gage Legare (#3)

and Jake Kolstad (#25). The Scotties would go on to win 67-30.

The 13-1 Scotsmen have outscored their opponents 892 (63.7

points per game average) - 531 (37.9 ppg). Malta is the only team

to score 60 points against Glasgow. Sidneys 53-50 victory on

January 22nd was the second highest offensive output agains

the Scots who host Harlem in a huge conference match-up this

Friday night. The Wildcats are on a fve-game winning streak

over Poplar, Plentywood, Wolf Point, Rocky Boy and Cut Bank

Friday nights game will be one of two left to play at home, so

pack the stands for some high-octane entertainment.

Worst call in Super Bowl history? Why did the Seahawks throw the #%!%# ball??? With 26 seconds lef in regulation and MarshawnLynch and the No. 1 rushing offense in tow, Seattlecooked up a crazy play call to throw the ball on the1-yard line on second down. It was picked off by New England and the Patriotswould win Super Bowl XLIX. I Charlie Maag was

the groundhog, he wouldnt have even come outo his burrow this morning. Guess that the NFCChampionship hat he received in the mail last week isall hell have to remember the Seahawks sensationalplayoff run rom this 2014-15 season.

Tat was the worst play call Ive seen in the historyo ootball, was a twitter rom Emmitt Smith. In overnight ratings, the right down to the last-minute, nail-biting, heart-stopping drama o SuperBowl XLIX drew a 49.7/72 or NBC and the NFL. Tats

the highest overnight rating in Super Bowl history anda 4% rise rom last years 47.6/70 metered market resultwhen Seattle won their first Super Bowl so ar with a43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos. As close as it was in terms o the score, last nightsPatriots v Seahawks matchup was not the closest SuperBowl spread in recent years that distinction goes tothe 34-31 result o the 2013 Baltimore Ravens and SanFrancisco 49ers game. Last nights game is the ourthSuper Bowl the Patriots have won this century withvictories in 2002, 2004, 2005 and now 2015.

Weather orecasters once again ceded the stageMonday morning to a urrier expert: a groundhognamed Phil. hats because February 2nd is the 129th oicialGroundhog Day. his time Punxsutawney Phil lethis cozy burrow in Pennsylvanias Gobblers Knob

near Pittsburgh, saw his shadow, and broke the newsthat were doomed to another six weeks o winterrather than treated to an early spring. Every Bill Murrayan knows the basics: iPhil sees his shadow, sixmore weeks o winterare in store. O course, i Philhad stuck his nose outhere in eastern Montana

this morning, he wouldnt have seen his shadow. So hopeully its the East Coast stuck with six moreweeks o winter and not us. Here are 6 acts youmight not know about Groundhog Day.1. Legend has it that Punxsutawney Phil

communicates his yearly orecast in the languagegrondhogese to the head o whats known asthe Groundhog Clubs Inner Circle, who justso happens to be luent in the ancient, animaltongue. he Inner Circle members actuallydecide ahead o time.

    2. Phil has a sassy side. During prohibition, thegroundhog threatened 60 more weeks o winterunless Punxsutawney inally let him have adrink.

    3. Groundhog Day is a ormal aair. Beginningin the 1960s, Inner Circle President Sam Lightdecreed that oiciants needed to dress in tophats and tuxedos to show appropriate deerenceto the beloved marmot.

    4. he tradition has ancient roots. he National

Punxsutawney Phil says six more weeks of winter comingOceanic and Atmospheric Administration saysGroundhogs Days origins are linked to ancienEuropean weather lore, in which a badger orsacred bear made the prediction.

    5. Even though groundhogs tend to live betweensix and eight years, Punxsutawney Phil is

he ederal and state and localgovernments collected mainly 40 to 60cents per gallon in taxes. he American Petroleum Institute

just updated their map showing thecombined local, state and ederal taxrate in each state as o Jan. 1, whennew taxes took eect. he ederal gasoline tax is thesame rom coast-to-coast 18.4 centsa gallon which means any variationshave been implemented by state andlocal governments. he highest gasoline tax in the

country is in Caliornia, where it now

exceeds 70 cents a gallon. Combinedwith Caliornia-speciic uel-blendingregulations that drive up reining coststhese taxes help make Golden Stat

gasoline prices the most expensive inthe country. Several other states, such as NewYork, Connecticut, and Hawaii, arclose to Caliornia in terms o thuel-tax burden their residents bearthough none has yet joined in crossingthe 70-cent-per-gallon threshold. Alaska is just 30.80 per gallonwhile South Carolina is second lowes

    at 35.15.

At 46.15 cents per gallon, Montana is slightly below the U.S. fuel tax average o

    49.72 cents per gallon.

Montana is pretty close to average in gas tax
