Austin Teen Book Festival
Parker & Andrew read the comics together as they eat lunch.
On Tuesday, January 20th, 25 HCMS students proudly displayed their Greek Mythology knowledge as they participated in a Mythology Bee sponsored by Disney Hyperion Books. Mr. Alan Abbe moderated the bee, which lapsed into several rounds. Austin Brown (seen at right, proudly displaying his medal) was our grand champion. His name has been submitted to the national Mythology Bee for a chance to win: a trip for four to Greece, a spot at Camp Half-Blood Summer Camp here in Austin, or signed copies of the Lightning Thief series. Way to go Austin! And CONGRATULATIONS to all of the participants (below)! You have much knowledge!
