Sponsor ProfileEverything But The Bike have been huge supportersof Bundaberg Live! and the local music scene forpretty much as long as the magazine has existed(and for that we thank them!). Business ownerTrish Knight is certainly no stranger to the stageherself, though not so much nowadays. When Trish set up Everything But The Bike, sheaimed to live up precisely to that name. The shopsells everything you could need or want in relationto motorbikes. Jackets, helmets, badges, hats, tshirts, bags, gloves, boots, bandanas and so muchmore, and as Trish rides herself (on a gorgeousTriumph) she knows what she is talking about. Inaddition, the shop also caters for those into ink, with resident tattoo artist Brendan set up in theback of the shop. If you would like to pay Brendan avisit, make sure you book an appointment – he is a

popular lad! Add to this body piercing andaccessories and the wide scope of the shop becomesapparent.Trish would like to make one thing clear though –there is a difference between a “biker” and a “bikie”.A “biker” loves to ride, loves their bike and usuallyloves their bike gear too. A “bikie”, at least bypopular definition, is someone who usually meetsthe description of a biker but is part of an “outlaw”club (a.k.a. “CMG”). The recent QueenslandGovernment campaign purports to be aimed at“bikies”, not “bikers”. Trish herself falls into the“biker” category, not the “bikie” as recently alludedto by some local mainstream media. Everything ButThe Bike is very much independently owned byTrish, with no affiliation to any club or group.Trish went back to study over two years ago to addlaser tattoo removal as another service. If you wereyoung and reckless with your early ink, and nowaren’t quite as happy with an old design as you oncewere, come in and chat to Trish about your options.Bundaberg Live! would like to once again thankTrish for her ongoing support, and in turnsupporting the local music scene. If you haven’tchecked out Everything But The Bike yet (whynot?!?), you can do so at 57 Bourbong St (next doorto Dick Smith), and they are open 6 days a week.
