New Grant Funding Research Tool The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to introduce their new Grant Funding Research Tool, Pivot. Pivot is an expansive global database with uploaded Advance Search funconality to cover acvies from research to travel awards. Principal Invesgators may register for a personal user account on the Pivot registraon page. For addional informaon and tutorials visit the ORSP Pivot webpage or contact Tina Nesbi at extension 4844. AFOF FY18 - Spring Dona Huggins, NAMS Anat Plocker, GENS EPA Seeks Local Partners to Enhance Environmental Educaon GrantWeek by Graeff, Frank 1-22-18 The Environmental Protecon Agency (EPA) is solicing applicaons for the 2018 Environmental Educaon (EE) Local Grant Program. Approximately $3 million will be spread out between EPA’s 10 regions to promote increased environmental and conservaon literacy and encourage behavior that will benefit the environment in local communies. Each region is expected to award three to four grants this cycle, meaning applicants would only be compeng against other local enes for mulple chances at funding. EPA does require cost-sharing and exactly 25 percent of the total award amount must go to subgrantees. Applicaons are due by March 15, 2018. Informaon about the 2018 compeon can be found here.
