According as he hath chosen us in him before thefoundation of the world, that we should be holy andwithout blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:4).

TThe blessings of the new man in Christ are just soprofound. They’re transcendent, to say the least.

One of these blessings is that you’re chosen in Christ to beblameless. Society may blame you; your parents, spouse, oreven your children may blame you. Your neighbours, friendsand co-workers may blame you when something goes wrong. But there’s one who never lays blame on you—your heavenlyFather.

Why isn’t He blaming you? It’s because Jesus tookresponsibility for all our errors, and now, you’re presented tothe Father as holy, unblameable, without reproach. Hebrews3:1 says, “Wherefore,“Wherefore, holyholy brethren, brethren, partakerspartakers ofof thethe heavenlyheavenlycalling, calling, considerconsider thethe ApostleApostle andand HighHigh PriestPriest ofof ourourprofession, profession, ChristChrist Jesus.”Jesus.” The Word calls us “holy brethren.”Men may look at you as unholy, but God says you’re holy andaccepted before Him in love.

This is the reason we can pray to God and expectanswers. It’s the reason we can change hopeless situations, because we have a right of hearing in the presence ofAlmighty God. The Bible tells us something so insightful in2 Corinthians 5:19. It says, “To“To wit, wit, thatthat GodGod waswas inin Christ,Christ, reconcilingreconciling thethe worldworld untounto himself, himself, notnot imputingimputing theirtheirtrespassestrespasses untounto them….”them….” Think about that: If because of Jesus, the sinner isn’t being held accountable for his sins, what aboutyou who are now in Christ? (See Romans 5:10).

Now, read Colossians 1:21-22 and shout for joy! Itsays, “And“And you, you, thatthat werewere sometimesometime alienatedalienated andand enemiesenemies

It doesn’t matter how much Satan accuses you or howothers may blame you, God has chosen you to be holy andwithout blame before Him in love. Strengthen yourself withthis thought today.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times

manifested his word through preaching, which iscommitted unto me according to the commandment of

God our Saviour (Titus 1:2-3).

SSome Christians refer to eternal life as though it’s stilla promise from God; something to be experienced

in the sweet-by-and-by. Yes, it was a promise before the worldbegan, but it has now been fulfilled. God’s plan was to makeeternal life available to men through the preaching of theGospel. When you hear the Gospel, you’re given theopportunity to believe, and receive eternal life into your spirit.

John 3:16 says, “For“For GodGod soso lovedloved thethe world, world, thatthat hehegavegave hishis onlyonly begottenbegotten Son,Son, thatthat whosoeverwhosoever believethbelieveth inin himhimshouldshould notnot perish, perish, butbut havehave everlastingeverlasting life.”life.” If you believe inJesus, you have eternal life. Jesus said in John 5:26, “For“For asasthethe FatherFather hathhath lifelife inin himself;himself; soso hathhath hehe givengiven toto thethe SonSon totohavehave lifelife inin himself.”himself.” John tells us in his epistle, “And“And thisthis isis thetherecord, record, thatthat GodGod hathhath givengiven toto usus eternaleternal life, life, andand thisthis lifelife isis ininhishis Son.Son. HeHe thatthat hathhath thethe SonSon hathhath life;life; andand hehe thatthat hathhath notnotthethe SonSon ofof GodGod hathhath notnot life”life” (1 John 5:11-12).

Did you notice that it doesn’t say, “God shall give tous eternal life”? Rather, it says, “God hath (past tense) givento us eternal life.” Eternal life is the present-hour possession ofthe one who has Jesus: “…this“…this lifelife isis inin hishis Son.Son. HeHe thatthat hathhaththethe SonSon hathhath life.”life.” You have eternal life NOW. What’s eternallife?

For many, it means the life that goes on and on forever;

The Promise Of Eternal LifeFulfilled

but that’s only a part of it. Eternal life is the superior life ofGod; the God-life. It’s the essence of divinity. It’s translatedfrom the Greek word “Zoë.” This life in you makes yousuperior to Satan, impregnable to sickness and disease; youbecome secure and unfailing. It’s the supernatural life; it’s thelife and nature of God, and it supplanted your human lifewhen you were born again. Glory to God!

And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One,and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth (Acts 22:14).

TThe unregenerate man can’t discern or walk in thewill of God; God’s will and ways of doing things are

mysterious to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “But“But thethe naturalnaturalmanman receivethreceiveth notnot thethe thingsthings ofof thethe SpiritSpirit ofof God:God: forfor theythey arearefoolishnessfoolishness untounto him:him: neitherneither cancan hehe knowknow them, them, becausebecausetheythey areare spirituallyspiritually discerned.”discerned.” But this isn’t so for you that areborn again. Jesus said it’s given to you to know the mysteriesof the Kingdom of God (Mark 4:11, Luke 8:10). You’rechosen to know God’s will. It’s our heritage in Christ.

This means there shouldn’t be doubts or uncertaintiesin your life; you can discern, and walk in God’s perfect will atall times. Some Christians have been in situations where theydidn’t know God’s will; they were trying to make a decisionand didn’t know what to do. No! That shouldn’t be yourexperience.

In Colossians 1:9, we read something instructive. TheChristians in Colosse, at the time of Paul’s epistle, were stillbabies in Christ. So, Paul and Timothy prayed for them tobe filled with the knowledge of God’s will: “For“For thisthis causecausewewe also…doalso…do notnot ceasecease toto praypray forfor you, you, andand toto desiredesire thatthat yeyemightmight bebe filledfilled withwith thethe knowledgeknowledge ofof hishis willwill inin allall wisdomwisdomandand spiritualspiritual understanding.”understanding.” They couldn’t have been prayingfor the Colossian Christians to be filled with the knowledgeof God’s will if they themselves hadn’t been filled with theknowledge of His will.

It’s part of the reasons we emphasize meditating onthe Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. God and His

Word are one, and His Word is His will expressed. Moreso, the Word of God is the wisdom of God, and wisdom iswalking in the will of God. Get to know the Word, and you’llnever walk in confusion.

Ephesians 1:9 tells us that God has made known untous the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure, which He had purposed in Himself. Even now, say to yourself,“I’m chosen to know God’s will. I have insight into mysteriesand secrets of the Kingdom.” Hallelujah!

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I havegiven thee a wise and an understanding heart; so thatthere was none like thee before thee, neither after thee

shall any arise like unto thee (1 Kings 3:12).

OOur God is awesome. He’s so great and mighty. HisWord is everlasting, and ever-sure, producing in

you, and for you, whatever message it carries. When Hespeaks, whatever He says becomes. This is why it’s such ablessing to hear God; to receive His Word. What He says is,is. His Word to you at any time in your life, regarding anysituation, is all you need.

For example, the Bible says, the LORD appeared toSolomon in a dream by night and gave Solomon a blankcheque. He asked him, “What do you want?” Solomon askedfor wisdom and understanding (1 Kings 3:8-9). Now, Goddidn’t send an angel from heaven to open Solomon’s brainand deposit wisdom inside. He didn’t give Solomonsomething to eat or drink, so he may become wise. All Hesaid was, “Solomon, you have it!”

That’s what we read in our opening verse. The momentGod spoke those words, Solomon became what God said.O, the blessedness of hearing God! He did the same withAbraham, who at the time was still called “Abram.” God said,“Neither“Neither shallshall thythy namename anyany moremore bebe calledcalled Abram,Abram, butbut thythynamename shallshall bebe Abraham;Abraham; forfor aa fatherfather ofof manymany nationsnations havehave IImademade thee”thee” (Genesis 17:5).

Abraham had no children, because his wife was barren, but God said, “I have made you a father of many nations.”God didn’t say, “I will make you a father of many nations;” no.He said, “Your name is now Abraham, because I have made

you a father of many.” When did God make him the father ofmany nations? It happened the instant He spoke His Word tohim and changed his name!

Read Romans 4:19-20: when he began to confess whatGod said about him, Sarah, his wife, received strength toconceive (Hebrews 11:11). That’s how it works: when Godsays it, you become it, the moment you respond by affirmingthe same thing.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, hewill keep my words: and my Father will love him, and wewill come unto him, and make our abode with him (John

14:23).

IIn the verse above, the Lord Jesus said, “If a man loveme, he will keep my words: and my Father will love

him….” This prompts a question: “Didn’t the Father alreadylove everyone?” John 3:16 says, “For“For GodGod soso lovedloved thethe world, world, thatthat hehe gavegave hishis onlyonly begottenbegotten Son,Son, thatthat whosoeverwhosoever believethbelievethinin himhim shouldshould notnot perish, perish, butbut havehave everlastingeverlasting life.”life.”

When He said the Father would love the one whokeeps His words, He wasn’t talking about the general loveof God, but love that produces fellowship. The Father wouldtake notice of you and have special fellowship with you if youlove Him. If anyone has this profound love for the Master, Hesays, “…we (the Father and the Son) will come unto him, andmake our abode with him.”

This wasn’t going to be a visit; rather, He meant theFather and the Son would set up their headquarters withand in you. I discovered this many years ago, and it made adeep impression on my spirit. I couldn’t get away from thephrase, “…make our abode with him,” because I understoodwhat it meant. It’s a glorious communion; an inseparableoneness with divinity. You’re in Him, and He’s in you; you’vebecome His operational headquarters, while He becomesyour dwelling place.

This is what sets you apart in life—your fellowship withthe Lord in love. You love the Lord passionately, and He’s allthat you seek. Your love for Him is the reason you pray, fast, study the Word, win souls, and do the things you do. It’s the

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and preciouspromises: that by these ye might be partakers of the

divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is inthe world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

IIn John 6:32-33, in response to the Jews, Jesus said,“…Moses“…Moses gavegave youyou notnot thatthat breadbread fromfrom heaven;heaven; butbut

mymy FatherFather givethgiveth youyou thethe truetrue breadbread fromfrom heaven.heaven. ForFor thethebreadbread ofof GodGod isis hehe whichwhich comethcometh downdown fromfrom heaven, heaven, andandgivethgiveth lifelife untounto thethe world.”world.” Then in the forty-ninth verse, Hebuttressed this point: “Your“Your fathersfathers diddid eateat mannamanna inin thethewilderness, wilderness, andand areare dead.dead. ThisThis isis thethe breadbread whichwhich comethcomethdowndown fromfrom heaven, heaven, thatthat aa manman maymay eateat thereof, thereof, andand notnot die.”die.”Here, He was talking about Himself—the Living Bread.

The Word of God is the bread which came down fromheaven. Jesus explained to His disciples that the bread He wastalking about was Himself: “I“I amam thethe livingliving breadbread whichwhich camecamedowndown fromfrom heaven:heaven: ifif anyany manman eateat ofof thisthis bread, bread, hehe shallshall liveliveforfor ever:ever: andand thethe breadbread thatthat II willwill givegive isis mymy flesh, flesh, whichwhich II willwillgivegive forfor thethe lifelife ofof thethe world”world” (John 6:51). Then the ApostlePaul in 1 Corinthians 10:17 reveals that “For“For wewe beingbeing manymanyareare oneone bread, bread, andand oneone body:body: forfor wewe areare allall partakerspartakers ofof thatthatoneone bread.”bread.”

If we’re one bread with Him, it then means we havethe same life, because we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23),just as He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Colossians 1:18says, “And“And hehe (Christ) isis thethe headhead ofof thethe body, body, thethe church….”church….”The head and the body share the same life. If we share His life, then we also share His health, prosperity, strength and glory.

No wonder we’re called associates of the God-kind;that’s what we read in our opening verse. 1 John 4:17 says,

“…as“…as hehe is,is, soso areare wewe inin thisthis world.”world.” Thus, we must walk asHe walked: in glory, righteousness, strength, dominion, andeverlasting triumph, for we’re sharers of His life—partakers ofthat one living bread—the Lord from heaven. Hallelujah!

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of ourLord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heavenand earth is named, that he would grant you, accordingto the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might

by his Spirit in the inner man (Ephesians 3:14-16).

TThe Apostle Paul had such a beautiful and powerfulunderstanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Consider His prayer in our theme scripture; notice that hewasn’t praying for himself, but for the church at Ephesus, thatthey be strengthened with might in their inner man by theHoly Spirit. He prayed thus for them because he knew that’sthe level in which the Christian ought to function. He wasalready functioning at that level; recall in Philippians 4:13, hesaid, “I“I cancan dodo allall thingsthings throughthrough ChristChrist whichwhich strengthenethstrengthenethme.”me.”

Have you come to know Him as your strength? Haveyou recognised Him as the strength of your life? David saidin Psalm 27:1, “…the“…the LordLord isis thethe strengthstrength ofof mymy life….”life….” Asyour strength, you have nothing to fear; no impossibilities; nolimitations; you triumph always, in every situation.

Affirm always that the Lord is your strength; that’s thelanguage of the spiritually mature. Don’t ask God for strength;affirm He’s your strength. Declare, “I’ve been invigorated withmight for every task. I can do all things through Christ who ismy strength.”

Yes, before you received the Gospel, you may havebeen weak and timid, giving up easily and unable to facechallenges. But thanks be unto God! The Bible says, “For“For

The Bible says God has given us the spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7); that hasbecome your song. You can do anything without fear. Evennow, affirm that you’ll do bigger things for the Lord, accordingto His power, which works in you mightily.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say untothis mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into

the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believethat those things which he saith shall come to pass; he

shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23).

TThe most beautiful natural gift from God to man is thegift of words, the ability to speak and make words.

You’re what you say. Your life is the summation of the wordsthat come out of you. Our opening verse emphasises theimportance of framing your life aright with your words. Theprinciple is clear: what you say is what you get. Life willproduce for you a harvest of what you say—good or bad.

Understand that in this, there’s no middle ground.Someone might say, “Well, I haven’t been saying anything atall; so I believe I’m going to be okay,” no; it doesn’t workthat way. You’ll still have a harvest; howbeit, the wrong one. It’s like having a garden and refusing to sow any seed init; something will definitely grow of its own accord—weeds.Sadly, the lives of some are that way. They don’t realize it’stheir responsibility to keep themselves in victory, dominion, and prosperity.

God already did all that’s necessary for you to haveand enjoy a transcendent life in Christ through the power ofthe Holy Spirit. It’s your responsibility now to keep things thatway, and it’s mainly about your confession. You must affirmthat you have a great life, if you’re going to live it! You mustacknowledge and confess that you’ve been called to a life ofglory and virtue; a life of power, beauty and excellence.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According“According asas hishis divinedivine powerpower hathhath

This ought therefore, to form the basis for your faithdeclarations.

Never talk lack, sickness, weakness, inability or fear.Rather, keep affirming that you have and walk in divine health.Affirm that the Lord is your strength, your righteousness, yoursuccess, and your prosperity. Keep saying it and your life willgo in one direction only—upward and forward.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of himthat sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:34).

IIn Christianity, our lives have a meaning; there’s apurpose for your life. You’re not living for nothing.

Jesus knew, and understood His purpose. In John 17:4, Hesaid, “I“I havehave glorifiedglorified theethee onon thethe earth:earth: II havehave finishedfinished thetheworkwork whichwhich thouthou gavestgavest meme toto do.”do.” This ought to be yourthinking as well; glorifying the Father should be your passionand purpose for living, and the way to glorify Him is to finishthe work that He commits to your hands.

Have you discovered God’s purpose for your life? Doyou know the specific purpose for your being? Are you atit? The purpose of the Father is the salvation of the wholeworld. That’s the reason He sent Jesus. The Bible says, “For“ForGodGod soso lovedloved thethe world, world, thatthat hehe gavegave hishis onlyonly begottenbegottenSon,Son, thatthat whosoeverwhosoever believethbelieveth inin himhim shouldshould notnot perish, perish, butbuthavehave everlastingeverlasting life”life” (John 3:16). The Bible says He’s notwilling that any should perish but that all men should cometo repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and that’s our job. We’re Hispartners in soul winning.

God seeks to beautify the lives of those around you,and lead them into righteousness through you; that’s livingfor His glory; that’s a purposeful life. You must influence yourworld positively and help those around you receive salvationthrough the power of God that works in you.

It doesn’t matter how fruitful or effective you mighthave been in other areas of your life, you must seek to excelin soul winning too. You’re a co-labourer with the Lord (2Corinthians 6:1) in taking the Gospel to the lost, hopeless, hurting, and downtrodden in your world, and in the regions

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at thethings which are not seen: for the things which are seen

are temporal; but the things which are not seen areeternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

BBefore the physical manifestation of the glory, success, victory, prosperity, and progress that you

desire in life, you must see it first within you. Once you cansee it from within, then it’s yours. It’s called “seeing theunseen.” You can never have it on the outside if you didn’tfirst have it within.

That’s where some have missed it. They want to seefirst with their physical eyes before calling it real; that’s notfaith. Faith is calling real that which the physical senses can’tperceive.

For example, God said to Abraham, “Neither“Neither shallshall thythynamename anyany moremore bebe calledcalled Abram,Abram, butbut thythy namename shallshall bebeAbraham;Abraham; forfor aa fatherfather ofof manymany nationsnations havehave II mademade thee…”thee…”(Genesis 17:5-6). Abraham first had to see himself as thefather of many nations. At the time God spoke to him, he wasninety-nine years old, and Sarah his wife, apart from reachingmenopause was barren.

Nevertheless, the Bible says, “He“He staggeredstaggered notnot atat thethepromisepromise ofof GodGod throughthrough unbelief;unbelief; butbut waswas strongstrong inin faith, faith, givinggiving gloryglory toto God”God” (Romans 4:20). The Lord had said to him,“…Look“…Look nownow towardtoward heaven, heaven, andand telltell thethe stars, stars, ifif thouthou bebe ableabletoto numbernumber them:them: and…Soand…So shallshall thythy seedseed be”be” (Genesis 15:5).Abraham believed. pictures; see with the eyes of your spirit; believe and actaccordingly. Don’t wait until you “see” the physicalmanifestation. For instance, if the Spirit says to you, “Youhave a new job,” don’t say, “When I receive the letter ofemployment, then I’ll say I have a job”; no! You have to takepossession in the spirit, and with your spirit, first, because it’smore real in the spirit-realm.

Realize that it’s the blessings your spirit take a hold of,and which you affirm with your mouth, that’ll manifest in yourlife. Therefore, see your victory, prosperity, health, peace, progress, and success from within, and affirm accordingly.

But when it pleased God, who separated me from mymother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his

Son in me… (Galatians 1:15-16).

TThe Apostle Paul, in our opening text, testified thatGod was pleased to reveal His Son, Jesus Christ, in

him. This isn’t just for the Apostle Paul; it’s the calling of everyChristian; being born again, Christ is in you. The Bible says,“…To“…To whomwhom GodGod wouldwould makemake knownknown whatwhat isis thethe richesriches ofof thethegloryglory ofof thisthis mysterymystery amongamong thethe Gentiles;Gentiles; whichwhich isis ChristChrist ininyou, you, thethe hopehope ofof gloryglory (Colossians 1:26-27).

God’s purpose, before the ages began, was to revealChrist in you. Can you see Christ in you? Can you see that thelife of Christ is in you? If Christ is revealed in you, there’ll beno place for any disease in your body. The hope that you’lllive again, the hope that you’ll forever be successful, the hopethat your life will be glorious, the hope that there’ll be nofailure in your life, is the revelation of Christ in you.

You may have been diagnosed with a terminal disease;don’t despair. If you can see Christ in you, that’ll be the endof that infirmity. The Bible says, “But“But ifif ChristChrist isis inin you, you, thentheneveneven thoughthough youryour bodybody isis subjectsubject toto deathdeath becausebecause ofof sin, sin, thetheSpiritSpirit givesgives lifelife becausebecause ofof righteousness”righteousness” (Romans 8:10 NIV).It doesn’t matter how large the tumour is, the Christ-life in youwill cause it to dematerialize.

The blood of the natural man is the life of his flesh(Leviticus 17:11), but when you’re born again, Christ is yourlife (Colossians 3:3). Your blood isn’t what’s sustaining yourlife. Now you can better understand when the Bible says“…as“…as manymany asas receivedreceived him, him, toto themthem gavegave hehe powerpower totobecomebecome thethe sonssons ofof God,God, eveneven toto themthem thatthat believebelieve onon hishis

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soulshall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with

you, even the sure mercies of David (Isaiah 55:3).

IIn the Old Testament, God asked Moses to gather thechildren of Israel to the foot of a mountain so He

could talk to them (Exodus 19:10-11). When the people sawthe thunderings and lightnings, they were terrified by thepresence of God and the sound of His voice, but it didn’tchange their lives (Exodus 20:18-19).

When Saul of Tarsus was on his way to Damascusas he wreaked havoc on the Church, during the greatpersecution of the early Church, suddenly, there shone fromheaven a great light that dazzled him. He fell to the ground, and heard the voice of the Lord in the Hebrew tongue, buthis co-travellers heard what they assumed to be thunder. Whocan hear God and live?

But thanks be unto God! Being born again, we werechosen to hear His voice. The reason Saul could hear Him,and his colleagues didn’t, even though they understood theHebrew language, is found in Acts 22:14: “…The“…The GodGod ofof ourourfathersfathers hathhath chosenchosen thee, thee, thatthat thouthou shouldestshouldest knowknow hishis will, will, andand seesee thatthat JustJust One,One, andand shouldestshouldest hearhear thethe voicevoice ofof hishismouth.”mouth.”

Someone says, “If I should hear the voice of Goddirectly, it will change my life”; no! Others heard that samevoice and it didn’t change their lives. It’s not about the soundyou hear, it’s about the message it unveils, and whether or notyou receive that message into you. Every time you hear theWord of God in your spirit, you live. Jesus said man shall notlive by bread alone, but by every Word from God’s mouth

(Matthew 4:4). Every time God talks to us, we live; we’restrengthened and blessed.

The same way you eat food every day, and it nourishesyour body, when you hear God’s Word every day, it doessomething to your life; you’re encouraged, and you’reprojected in the right direction. Success, favour, and graceare multiplied in your life, all because you’re feeding on theWord. Jesus said, “Verily,“Verily, verily, verily, II saysay untounto you, you, TheThe hourhour isiscoming, coming, andand nownow is,is, whenwhen thethe deaddead shallshall hearhear thethe voicevoice ofof thetheSonSon ofof God:God: andand theythey thatthat hearhear shallshall live”live” (John 5:25). Johnwas referring to spiritual death. So when you hear the Gospelof Christ, you live. Don’t stop feeding on the Word.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto mysayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep themin the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto thosethat find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs

4:20-22).

TThe word translated “health” in our opening text isthe Hebrew word “marpe,” which means medicine.

So, that verse should actually read, “…For they are life untothose that find them, and health [medicine] to all their flesh.”The Word of God is medicine; it has curative powers. If you’llmeditate on the Word, it’ll destroy every, and any form ofdisease and infirmity in your body. The Bible says, “He“He sentsent hishisword, word, andand healedhealed them, them, andand delivereddelivered themthem fromfrom theirtheirdestructions”destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

God’s Word is the solution to every challenge. Itspotency and efficacy are undeniable. The Word has the abilityto transform your life, energize you for victory, andprogramme you for excellence. As you meditate on theWord, a metamorphosis takes place in your life. If you’refacing challenges in your health, don’t despair. Get a hold ofGod’s Word and there’ll be a change.

When you don’t study or feed on the Word as youshould, you starve your spirit, and that’s dangerous. It’s likepeople who stay without eating physical food for a long time;they become weak and eventually susceptible to sicknessand disease; their immunity against germs and viruses rapidlydissipates. But if you’re feeding well, chances are, you’reunlikely to have the same problems.

The Word of God does much more for your spirit thanphysical food. If you’ll stay in the Word, you’ll always behealthy and sound. If you’d meditate on the Word, it’ll curethat blood condition, get rid of the HIV, heal your bones, heart, and skin, and produce life in you! It’ll cure that woundthat has defied treatment. Speak the Word to that infirmity;talk to that cancer; talk to your blood cells; command thediabetes to be healed! Keep yourself in health with the Word.

DDid you know that as a child of God, because ofyou, there’s hope for men in this world? God

chose you to be His witness; to tell others about the savingpower of the Gospel of Christ, and about His love. TheGlorious Gospel of the blessed Lord has been committed toyour trust (1 Timothy 1:11). And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have noinheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have anypart among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance

among the children of Israel (Numbers 18:20).

WWe understand from the Scriptures that Godapportioned inheritance to the different tribes of

Israel except the Levites. To the Levites He said, “I am thy partand thine inheritance among the children of Israel.” In otherwords, “I’m your portion! I’m everything you need!” This iswonderful! How rich can you get when the Lord is yourportion?

Psalm 24:1 says, “The“The earthearth isis thethe LORD’S,LORD’S, andand thethefulnessfulness thereof;thereof; thethe world, world, andand theythey thatthat dwelldwell therein.”therein.” If thisis true, and it is, then it follows that the earth and everythingin it belongs to you because the Lord is your portion. Nowonder, the Bible says all things are yours! Now, you canunderstand when I say I don’t ask God for anything; all myprayers are for other people. I have nothing to ask God for, because I have Christ, and Christ is everything.

When this truth dawns on you, the struggles would beover; it’ll change your mentality and your testimonies wouldbe different. The Psalmist knew the Lord to be his portion andso declared, “The“The LORDLORD isis thethe portionportion ofof minemine inheritanceinheritanceandand ofof mymy cup:cup: thouthou maintainestmaintainest mymy lot”lot” (Psalms 16:5).

Then in Psalm 27:1, the psalmist testified, “…“… thethe LORDLORDisis thethe strengthstrength ofof mymy life;life; ofof whomwhom shallshall II bebe afraid?”afraid?” (Psalm27:1). He didn’t say, “Strengthen me, oh Lord”; rather, hedeclared, “The Lord is the strength of my life!” You don’t askfor strength when you know the Lord is your portion; He’syour strength, and you testify accordingly.

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer andsupplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made

known unto God (Philippians 4:6).

TThe Amplified Classic Version of the openingscripture says, “Do“Do notnot fretfret oror havehave anyany anxietyanxiety

aboutabout anything, anything, butbut inin everyevery circumstancecircumstance andand inin everything, everything, byby prayerprayer andand petitionpetition (definite(definite requests),requests), withwith thanksgiving, thanksgiving, continuecontinue toto makemake youryour wantswants knownknown toto God.”God.” The Lordexpects us to make definite requests of Him. Say exactly whatyou want!

There’s no need for vain repetitions or superfluity ofwords. Some people are that way when they pray, but Jesussaid, “…When“…When yeye pray, pray, useuse notnot vainvain repetitions, repetitions, asas thethe heathenheathendo:do: forfor theythey thinkthink thatthat theythey shallshall bebe heardheard forfor theirtheir muchmuchspeaking”speaking” (Matthew 6:7). Some make vague requests. Forinstance, someone might say, “Help me Lord; I can’t continuelike this,” and thinks he or she has prayed, but that’s not adefinite request.

You have to state precisely what help you want. Isit help with your finances, your health, job, or your family?Whatever it is, be specific and act on the Word. Our openingverse gives us two key elements of effectual prayers: definiterequests and thanksgiving. In Mark 11:23, the Lord Jesus said,“For“For verilyverily II saysay untounto you, you, ThatThat whosoeverwhosoever shallshall saysay untountothisthis mountain, mountain, BeBe thouthou removed, removed, andand bebe thouthou castcast intointo thethesea;sea; andand shallshall notnot doubtdoubt inin hishis heart, heart, butbut shallshall believebelieve thatthatthosethose thingsthings whichwhich hehe saithsaith shallshall comecome toto pass;pass; hehe shallshall havehavewhatsoeverwhatsoever hehe saith.”saith.”

Jesus didn’t tell us to speak to “mountains,” but to“this mountain,” teaching us to be definite in acting our faith.

Say Exactly What You Want

FRIDAY

When you have a strong and definite desire for a change, make your faith proclamations accordingly, and begin toglorify God for the answers. Only when you’re specific inyour requests are you able to effectively give thanks to God,because you know when they’re met.

It makes no difference what challenges you’re facedwith; refuse to fret or doubt! Tell the Father what you want, and praise Him for the answer. He said ask and receive thatyour joy may be full (John 16:24).

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall makeyou free (John 8:32).

SSpiritual truths are activated by knowledge. 2 Peter1:3 says, “…his“…his divinedivine powerpower hathhath givengiven untounto usus allall

thingsthings thatthat pertainpertain untounto lifelife andand godliness, godliness, throughthrough thetheknowledgeknowledge ofof himhim thatthat hathhath calledcalled usus toto gloryglory andand virtue.”virtue.”Proverbs 11:9 says through knowledge—revelationknowledge—shall the just be delivered.

As you study and meditate on the Word, not only willyou discover your inheritance in Christ, you’ll also receive thefaith to relate with and enjoy all that God has made availableto you in Christ Jesus. The Word is truth, and it has thecapacity and ability to make you a success, build you up likea solid edifice, and keep you in health.

It doesn’t matter who you are, or how severe orhopeless you might think the case is, nothing is impossibleto the one who lives by the truth of God’s Word. Life isan unending stream of blessings, excitement, success, andvictories for the one who understands and applies theprinciples of God’s Word. The Word is able to change yourlife and to change you completely from failure to success. However, you must know the Word. If you don’t know theWord, you can’t work the Word.

That’s why we teach and preach the truth of God’sWord, because when we talk about the blessings that belongto us in Christ and people become aware of the blessings, they’ll start walking in the blessings. Through knowledge, they’re able to appropriate the blessings in their personal

most haven’t been taught how to walk in divine health; sowhen we preach divine health, they hear about it and get toknow that divine health is theirs. That knowledge will impartfaith to their spirits and activate the power of the Word intheir lives to walk in divine health.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the

world (1 John 4:4).

IIn Exodus 23:23, God promised to give the children ofIsrael the lands belonging to the Amorites, the

Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and theJebusites. The inhabitants of these lands were giants, armedand trained in war. They obviously were physically strongerand more intimidating than the Israelites. Their cities werefortified. How will Israel take possession of the lands andmake God’s promise a reality? It was going to be by the HolyGhost.

God had said to them, “For“For minemine AngelAngel shallshall gogo beforebeforethee, thee, andand bringbring theethee inin untounto thethe Amorites,Amorites, andand thethe Hittites,Hittites, andand thethe Perizzites,Perizzites, andand thethe Canaanites,Canaanites, thethe Hivites,Hivites, andand thetheJebusites:Jebusites: andand II willwill cutcut themthem off”off” (Exodus 23:23). NoticeHe didn’t say His angel shall bring them into the land, butthat He’d bring them to the enemies: the Amorites, Hittites,Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites. He was going tocause the Israelites to collide with their enemies.

Never be afraid when you have to collide withopposing forces; they’re bread for you. God always causesyou to collide with them when He wants to give you whatthey’ve occupied so long that doesn’t belong to them. Thereason is simple: you’re the seed of Abraham. The Holy Spiritcame to live in us for a purpose, to make us champions, andto bring us into our inheritance. Until you know Him, you’llnot walk in your inheritance! You’d live an ordinary life.

He Brings You into YourInheritance

However, when you know the Holy Spirit, you becomean active participant in the divine nature; you play your partin the divine experience! Nothing and no one is able to cheatyou out of God’s best! You’re confident in the word! Youknow, and live in your divine inheritance. 1 Corinthians 2:12says, “Now“Now wewe havehave received, received, notnot thethe spiritspirit ofof thethe world, world, butbutthethe spiritspirit whichwhich isis ofof God;God; thatthat wewe mightmight knowknow thethe thingsthings thatthatareare freelyfreely givengiven toto usus ofof God.”God.”

The Holy Ghost knows the things that are freely givento us of God. You don’t have to struggle for them. He showsyou those things; He brings them to your knowledge, andyour understanding, so you can speak them, because withyour mouth, you bring them into the material world from therealm of the Spirit. Your affirmation of the Word makes it realin your life.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, anholy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forththe praises of him who hath called you out of darkness

into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

GGod always has a purpose for what He does; Hedoesn’t just do things. For example, He didn’t just

bring you out of darkness, He also transferred you into Hismarvellous light. Always, He brings you out, to bring you in.Colossians 1:13 says, “Who“Who hathhath delivereddelivered usus fromfrom thethe powerpowerofof darkness, darkness, andand hathhath translatedtranslated usus intointo thethe kingdomkingdom ofof hishisdeardear Son.”Son.”

Did you notice He didn’t just deliver you from thepower of darkness? That alone would have been wonderful, but He went a step further to catapult you to the Kingdom ofHis love-son. Thus, our opening scripture above reveals yourpresent location: God’s marvellous light; His awe-inspiringlight! That’s your domicile; therefore, no darkness in your life.

It brings to mind the words of Jesus in John 8:12.He said, “…he“…he thatthat followethfolloweth meme shallshall notnot walkwalk inin darkness, darkness, butbut shallshall havehave thethe lightlight ofof life.”life.” We’re the children of Light, dwelling in the Light, and the Lord is the father of lights (James1:17).

Darkness represents sin, death, evil and all thenegativities associated with Satan. You’ve been brought outof all that, including sickness, disease, depression, poverty, frustrations, etc., into the gracious and glorious life in Christ;the liberty of the sons of God. 2 Corinthians 4:6 says, “For“ForGod,God, whowho commandedcommanded thethe lightlight toto shineshine outout ofof darkness, darkness, hathhathshinedshined inin ourour hearts….”hearts….”

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in

heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

TThe mentality the Lord expects us to have isn’t that ofthose in need of blessings but that of a people

blessed beyond measure, to be a blessing. Our opening versesays He’s blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenlyplaces in Christ (Ephesians 1:3), not just so we can enjoy andkeep the blessings to ourselves, but so we’ll be a blessing toour world.

In Genesis 12:3, God said, “And“And II willwill blessbless themthem thatthatblessbless thee....”thee....” Part of your heritage as the seed of Abraham isthat through you, the nations of the earth shall be blessed.

Take Joseph for an example: The Lord blessed him somuch that he became the envy of all his brothers. When hisbrothers sold him as a slave, he became the manager of hismaster’s (Potiphar’s) estate.

The Bible specifically records that from the timePotiphar made Joseph the overseer of his house, and of allthat he had, the Lord blessed him and his entire householdfor Joseph’s sake; the blessing of the Lord was upon all thatPotiphar had in his house and in the field (Genesis 39:5). Suchan amazing reality!

When Joseph was unjustly sent to prison, due to falseaccusations from his master’s wife, he soon became the headof the prisoners because he was always quick to help others.Furthermore, through his wisdom, the whole Egyptian empirewas preserved from severe famine.

As a blessed person, it doesn’t matter what job you do:your prosperity is assured. Even your work is an avenue to

bless others. Ephesians 4:28 shows us the reason for work.It says, “Let“Let himhim thatthat stolestole stealsteal nono more:more: butbut ratherrather letlet himhimlabour, labour, workingworking withwith hishis handshands thethe thingthing whichwhich isis good, good, thatthathehe maymay havehave toto givegive toto himhim thatthat needeth.”needeth.” He wants you towork, get a job, not so you can make a living or make endsmeet, but so you can be a blessing to others as well.

Your job is your opportunity to express the excellenceGod has deposited within you. There’s so much within youthat the world can benefit from. That’s why you must be thebest of you, and bless the world with the investment of yourpersonality. Find a need, and reach out to meet it.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one foranother, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent

prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16).

WWhen the Bible talks about confession, many onlyrelate to it in terms of confession of sins, but

confession is much more than that. Confession means tospeak the same thing with God in consent; it derives from theGreek word “homologia”; it’s a principle in the Kingdom ofGod that begins with your salvation as a child of God.

You couldn’t have been saved without confession; notthe confession of your sins, but the affirmation of the Lordshipof Jesus over your life. Romans 10:9-10 says, “That“That ifif thouthoushaltshalt confessconfess withwith thythy mouthmouth thethe LordLord Jesus,Jesus, andand shaltshalt believebelieveinin thinethine heartheart thatthat GodGod hathhath raisedraised himhim fromfrom thethe dead, dead, thouthoushaltshalt bebe saved.saved. ForFor withwith thethe heartheart manman believethbelieveth untountorighteousness;righteousness; andand withwith thethe mouthmouth confessionconfession isis mademade untountosalvation.”salvation.” This is the true confession that catapults you intosalvation.

The only time you confess something you did wrongis after you’ve become a Christian and have received eternallife. When you do something wrong, you talk to the Lordabout it and you’re cleansed. Even though you talk to God,you don’t really confess your sins, because He didn’t tell us toconfess our sins to Him; He knows already. You only confessor acknowledge your faults to your brothers and/or sisterswhom you’ve offended. That’s what we read in our openingverse.

Someone might ask, “How about 1 John 1:9 that says,“If“If wewe confessconfess ourour sins, sins, hehe isis faithfulfaithful andand justjust toto forgiveforgive usus ouroursins, sins, andand toto cleansecleanse usus fromfrom allall unrighteousness?”unrighteousness?” For some

people, they believe this means we’re always sinning; we’rein a perpetual state of sin and confession; but that’s not true;it means, if we acknowledge our sins, He blots them out. 1John 2:1 says, “…if“…if anyany manman sin, sin, wewe havehave anan advocateadvocate withwiththethe Father,Father, JesusJesus ChristChrist thethe righteous.”righteous.” Notice it doesn’t say,“When any man sin,” but “If any man sin,” letting you knowthat sin isn’t perpetual.

Moreover, the Bible says, “For“For sinsin shallshall notnot havehavedominiondominion overover you…”you…” (Romans 6:14). Hallelujah.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may haveboldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are

we in this world (1 John 4:17).

TThere’re two key words I’ll like you to notice in ouropening verse. The first is “perfect” which means

“made complete,” while the second is “judgment.” Judgmentis from the Greek word, “krisis,” the derivative of the Englishword, “crisis.” It depicts a time of intense difficulty or danger. So, whether you have a crisis in the Church or on your job, athome or in the country where you live, God wants you tohave boldness or confident assurance in the day of crisis.

Mark 4 gives credence to this. It tells the story of howthe disciples were rattled amidst a raging tempest. Distraughtwith fear, they cried out to Jesus, “…Master,“…Master, carestcarest thouthou notnotthatthat wewe perish?”perish?” (Mark 4:38). At that hour of crisis—that periodof turbulence—Jesus was unflustered. With poise, boldnessand an undeniable confidence, He hushed the tempestuousweather to sleep. Mark 4:39 says, “…he“…he arose, arose, andand rebukedrebukedthethe wind, wind, andand saidsaid untounto thethe sea, sea, Peace,Peace, bebe still.still. AndAnd thethe windwindceased, ceased, andand therethere waswas aa greatgreat calm.”calm.”

He then chided His disciples saying, “Where is yourfaith?” Faith in what? In the Father’s love! This was theconfidence Jesus had. John 15:9 (NLT) says, “I“I havehave lovedlovedyouyou eveneven asas thethe FatherFather hashas lovedloved me.me. RemainRemain inin mymy love.”love.”When you function in the Father’s love, you become unafraidof anything because you know the Father is with you andin you. That fellowship inspires confidence. You’re consciousthat you dwell in His love.1 John 4:18 says, “There“There isis nono fearfearinin love;love; butbut perfectperfect lovelove castethcasteth outout fear....”fear....”

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are thesons of God (Romans 8:14).

TThe human mind, at its very best, is limited and as aresult can’t be a sure guide for the Christian. Due to

the limitation of human understanding, we’re unable to tellthose things that are good for us, or make the right choicesuntil we look into the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to guideus.

Jesus said, “Howbeit“Howbeit whenwhen he,he, thethe SpiritSpirit ofof truth, truth, isiscome, come, hehe willwill guideguide youyou intointo allall truth:truth: forfor hehe shallshall notnot speakspeak ofofhimself;himself; butbut whatsoeverwhatsoever hehe shallshall hear, hear, thatthat shallshall hehe speak:speak: andandhehe willwill shewshew youyou thingsthings toto come”come” (John 16:13). And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies inyour mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciledIn the body of his flesh through death, to present youholy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight

(Colossians 1:21-22).

HHow inspiring and comforting this is! God chose youbefore the foundation of the world to be holy and

without blame before Him in love, and predestined you to beaccepted in His presence (Ephesians 1:6). Long before He laidthe foundations of the earth, He had you in mind. He knewyou, accepted you and settled on you to be the focus andobject of His love.

This had nothing to do with your good works; it’spurely the result of His grace. He reconciled you to Himself, justified you and made you righteous. Now you’re beyondreproach, beyond condemnation. There’s no judgementagainst you; you’re free from all accusations: “There“There isisthereforetherefore nownow nono condemnationcondemnation toto themthem whichwhich areare inin ChristChristJesus…”Jesus…” (Romans 8:1). Following the sacrifice of Jesus on yourbehalf, sin and its consequences shall not have dominionover you. You’re free to serve the Lord and live for Him, inrighteousness and true holiness.

Someone might ask, “How about when I do somethingwrong, am I still righteous, holy, blameless andirreproachable?” Yes, you are! First, understand that Christ isyour redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30), meaning that He’s yourriddance. In other words, He rids you of trouble and takesresponsibility for your faults.

Secondly, you aren’t holy or righteous because of your

actions, but because you live in the presence of God, andhave His nature of righteousness. He gave you Hisrighteousness as a gift (Romans 5:17); therefore, you haveright standing with Him. Moreover, His presence in yousanctifies; that is, makes you holy.

This is what gives us boldness and confidence to prayand expect answers. It’s the reason we can speak and expectthings to turn out the way we said they should, because wehave a right of hearing in His presence. He qualified us to livein His presence, and become partakers of the divine nature, associates of the Godkind. Blessed be God!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his onlybegotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not

perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

TThere’re people who have stopped going to church, because they did something wrong and thought

God was mad at them and couldn’t forgive them. I wish theyknew the kind of God He is! He is love. He could never turnHis back on you. He loves you so much that rather thanpunish you for your sins, He punished His Son, Jesus. That’swhat we read in our opening verse.

God may hate sin, but He loves the sinner. Hedistinguishes the sinner from his actions and loves himnonetheless. That’s the reason He could look beyond man’sfaults and frailties and pay the ultimate price—the death ofHis Son—to save the world. The Bible says God was in Christ, reconciling the world—the world of sinners unto Himself—notimputing their trespasses unto them (2 Corinthians 5:19). Hedoesn’t hold your sins against you.

Jesus already bore the punishment and consequencesfor all your sins. He was judged for your sake: “But“But hehe waswaswoundedwounded forfor ourour transgressions, transgressions, hehe waswas bruisedbruised forfor ourouriniquities:iniquities: thethe chastisementchastisement ofof ourour peacepeace waswas uponupon him;him; andandwithwith hishis stripesstripes wewe areare healed”healed” (Isaiah 53:5). This is part ofthe excitement and joy we celebrate as Christians; we’re sograteful to God for all He’s provided for us in Christ Jesus. He’s so wonderful! Where would we have been without Him?What would our lives have been like?

Think about a God who isn’t just loving, but is also alllove! Even when we inadvertently do or say the wrong things,in His love, He made provision for our automatic cleansing.

Then the ninth verse says, “If“If wewe confessconfess ourour sins, sins, hehe isisfaithfulfaithful andand justjust toto forgiveforgive usus ourour sins, sins, andand toto cleansecleanse usus fromfromallall unrighteousness.”unrighteousness.” Thus, having been born again, if you dosomething wrong, and confess it to the Father, He’s lovingenough, and can be trusted, to cleanse you, not only fromthat sin, but from all unrighteousness. How wonderful this is!

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your heartsbe overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and

cares of this life, and so that day come upon youunawares (Luke 21:34).

TThe parable of the sower that Jesus told in Markchapter 4 shows us the reason the Word of God is

unfruitful in the lives of some people. These people areoverwhelmed by the cares of this life: “And“And thesethese areare theytheywhichwhich areare sownsown amongamong thorns;thorns; suchsuch asas hearhear thethe word, word, AndAndthethe carescares ofof thisthis world…world… chokechoke thethe word, word, andand itit becomethbecomethunfruitful”unfruitful” (Mark 4:18-19).

When you find a Christian who isn’t bearing fruits thatare consistent with the Word of God, it’s because he or sheis encumbered with the cares of this life, therefore receivingthe Word amongst thorns. “Thorns” here refers to “the caresof this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of otherthings.” These things choke the Word of God in people’s livesand make it unproductive, thus resulting in many not living totheir potentials in Christ.

1 John 2:15 says, “Love“Love notnot thethe world, world, neitherneither thethethingsthings thatthat areare inin thethe world.world. IfIf anyany manman lovelove thethe world, world, thethelovelove ofof thethe FatherFather isis notnot inin him.”him.” Our opening scripture says,“…take“…take heedheed toto yourselves, yourselves, lestlest atat anyany timetime youryour heartshearts bebeoverchargedovercharged withwith surfeiting.”surfeiting.” God wants your affection andattention set on Him and His eternal Word, on things inheaven and not on things in the earth (Colossians 3:2). Hewants you to guard your heart and make it a fertile groundalways for His Word to not only be deep-rooted, but also toproduce the desired result.

In Proverbs 23:26, He said, “My“My son, son, givegive meme thinethine

That way, you’d have a fruitful and productive life:“Blessed“Blessed isis thethe manman that…histhat…his delightdelight isis inin thethe lawlaw ofof thethe Lord;Lord;andand inin hishis lawlaw dothdoth hehe meditatemeditate dayday andand night.night. As long as the world exists, there will be a time forplanting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold

and heat, summer and winter, day and night (Genesis8:22 GNB).

OOne of the most profound principles in the Word ofGod that guarantee continuous increase in

finances is the principle of giving. Not too many people are asexcited to give, as they are to receive; meanwhile, thepromised blessing isn’t to the receiver but to the giver. Jesussaid, “…It“…It isis moremore blessedblessed toto givegive thanthan toto receivereceive ” (Acts20:35).

2 Corinthians 9:8 gives us a clear insight about theblessedness of the giver. It says, “And“And GodGod isis ableable toto makemakeallall gracegrace (every(every favorfavor andand earthlyearthly blessing)blessing) comecome toto youyou ininabundance, abundance, soso thatthat youyou maymay alwaysalways andand underunder allallcircumstancescircumstances andand whateverwhatever thethe needneed bebe self-sufficientself-sufficient[possessing[possessing enoughenough toto requirerequire nono aidaid oror supportsupport andand furnishedfurnishedinin abundanceabundance forfor everyevery goodgood workwork andand charitablecharitable donation]”donation]”(AMP). The previous verse says, “…God“…God lovesloves (He(He takestakespleasurepleasure in,in, prizesprizes aboveabove otherother things, things, andand isis unwillingunwilling totoabandonabandon oror toto dodo without)without) aa cheerfulcheerful (joyous,(joyous, promptprompt toto dodoit)it) givergiver [whose[whose heartheart isis inin hishis giving].”giving].”

Now this isn’t just about money; Jesus didn’t say “givemoney,” He said “Give!” Whatever good thing you desire inyour life, sow the seed of it into the lives of others and it’ll bemultiplied in your own life. Remember His words: “Therefore“Thereforeallall thingsthings whatsoeverwhatsoever yeye wouldwould thatthat menmen shouldshould dodo toto you, you, dodoyeye eveneven soso toto them…”them…” (Matthew 7:12).

Another thing your giving does is that it helps toincrease the fruits of your righteousness: “Now“Now hehe thatthat

If only you knew allthat your giving to the Lord could do for you! It connects youand everything that concerns you with God’s Spirit and givesyou results that aren’t only for today, but for tomorrow andfor all time.

Each time you have the opportunity to give, be excited. Our lives as Christians should depict the character of ourheavenly Father, who gave His precious Son, Jesus, for oursalvation (John 3:16).

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, andcontinueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a

doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed(James 1:25).

TThe Word of God is a mirror. The Bible says, “But“But weweall, all, withwith openopen faceface beholdingbeholding asas inin aa glassglass thethe gloryglory

ofof thethe Lord,Lord, areare changedchanged intointo thethe samesame imageimage fromfrom gloryglory totoglory, glory, eveneven asas byby thethe SpiritSpirit ofof thethe Lord”Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).When we look into the mirror of God, we see ourselves. Wesee the glory of God. The natural mirror portrays earthlyreflections, but God’s mirror, His Word, is the perfect mirrorthat shows you who you are and exactly how God sees you.

The more you look into the mirror of God, the moreyou’re changed to become what you see. So, keep looking, because as you look, you’re metamorphosed; your lifebecomes increasingly excellent. But if you take your eyesaway, you’d live a confused life because you’re looking atthe wrong thing. Our opening verse says, “But“But whosowhoso lookethlookethintointo thethe perfectperfect lawlaw ofof liberty, liberty, andand continuethcontinueth therein, therein, hehebeingbeing notnot aa forgetfulforgetful hearer, hearer, butbut aa doerdoer ofof thethe work, work, thisthis manmanshallshall bebe blessedblessed inin hishis deed.”deed.”

James 1:22 says, “But“But bebe yeye doersdoers ofof thethe word, word, andandnotnot hearershearers only, only, deceivingdeceiving youryour ownown selves.”selves.” If you’re a doerof the Word, when you look into God’s mirror, you don’tforget who you are. The one who doesn’t do the Word hasan identity crisis.

No matter the challenges you face and the troublesthat may come your way, stick to the Word. Alwaysremember what the Word says about you: you’re more thana conqueror; greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the

“A MIRACLE PROPERTY FOR MY CHURCH!”Sometime ago, due to some financial troubles in our church, we were forcedto move from our church building. It was a terrible experience for us, aswe didn’t know where the next service was going to hold. I summonedmy members, and ensured we studied Rhapsody of Realities together.Afterwards, we went out on a strategic free distribution of the devotional, andthen, a miracle happened: A dear brother called me and handed me papers toa landed property he was giving to the church! This had to have been becauseof the messenger angel!

“RHAPSODY HAS HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THEBIBLE”

Before now, I used to find it difficult to read and understand the Bible. Nomatter how many times I read it, I never understood it because of the manydifficult words I came across. This changed when I came in contact withRhapsody of Realities. This heavenly book has been a great blessing to me. Ithas given answers to the many questions in my heart. Now, I study the Bibleand understand exactly what God is saying to me. I’ve become a distributorso that others can be blessed just like me.

-M. Roland; Mauritius

“I’M NOW A BOLD CHRISTIAN!”I used to feel ashamed to say I was a Christian. I would worry that my friendswouldn’t understand me and laugh at me. Life became boring and uninspiringuntil I got a copy of Rhapsody of Realities. Studying the devotional hastransformed me. My confidence and courage have increased, and now I havea strong zeal in my heart to share the Gospel with others.
