The Problem

• How many people think the kitchens have surround sound?

• How many people have used surround sound in the kitchens?

• Most people just want to watch TV or play DVDs in the kitchens

• The current equipment is out of date and hard to use

The Solution• Simplify the A/V Systems• Removing unnecessary components from the

kitchen systems will makes the systems simpler to use and more reliable– This has been proved with the TV's in the 4th and

6th floor lounges– Residents can still attach their own components

• Removing components will also reduce the temptation for residents to “self diagnose” problems
