F e d e r a l switchgear Ltd. was established in the year 2005 to cater the increasing demand for Switchgear products utilizing the potential of the Middle East as manufacturing base. The Company is a part of Zubair Corporation, Oman a diversified group with almost 50 wholly owned companies, subsidiaries and associates in the Sultanate of Oman, the rest of the Middle East, India, Far East, and Europe and in the USA.

Federal Switchgear is one of the few fully manufacturers in the Middle East with capabilities from product design, system design up to routine test and dispatch all under one roof at its factory in Abu Dhabi. With its continued investment in advanced technology, Federal Switchgear is able to provide state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing facilities. This enhances the company’s efficiency in generating good quality, safe and reliable products.

Federal Utility SeriesFederal Switchgear provides all of the various LVAC panels, Flange Connected Feeder Pillars, Feeder Pillars Type A & Type B, Service Cabinets and control panels for Street lighting to facilitate the supply for utility network in the GCC countries.

These Utility panels / Distribution boards are designed by Federal Switchgear and type tested for both with Circuit Breakers, Isolators, Verticals strip fuse units, Fuses in line with specific type of distribution board and feeder pillar to adhere to the utility specification & certified by KEMA, ASTA as per latest IEC 61439 international standards.
