How Do They Qualify?

from AIT, BOLC or WOBC.

What Do They Receive?
-16 SH/24 QH of TA-funded courses per fiscal year (FY)
-$250 SH/$165 QH TA-funding but no fees or books

MRC 1 or 2, AIT (+) SSDL-1 completion, BOLC or WOBC

Degree Plan & Course Planner
Students are required to obtain a degree plan/audit after
completing 6SH/9QH of tuition assistance funded courses
towards the current degree. Degree plan/audits must:
• Identify student and school’s name
• Degree level and program (Bachelors/Psychology)
• List all required courses for degree completion to
include course number, title & number of credits)
• Evaluation of transcripts (military and college) if
applicable
*If manually generated, include school officials signature
block validating the document. No validation required
for system generated DARs.

Concurrent Use of TA & GI Bill Programs
CH. 1606: Concurrent use allowed for the same term
just not same class(es).
CH 33: Concurrent use of TA & CH 33 is allowed. If
100% tier the SCO can certify enrollment for fees,
housing (if not Active Duty/AGR) & books only but it’s
applied against entitlement the same. CH33 amount
calculated after scholarships, TA & waivers are
factored in.
CH 30 & CH 35 (DEA): Concurrent use of TA & CH 30
is allowed* *Service member may apply for Top-Up if
Active Duty/AGR
State TA: Concurrent use of STA and Ch1606 allowed.

How Do They Qualify
-Current drilling member of the Oregon NG (both Army & Air)
-Must attend an Oregon public community college or university
-Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0
-Has not achieved a Bachelors Degree or higher degree
-Eligible immediately following any military BCT
-Not Flagged (Adverse Action)
-Must apply for FTA and FAFSA (proof will be required)
What Do They Receive?
-Resident tuition (less FTA or tuition only grants/scholarships)
-Up to 90 credits (QH) towards an Associate’s Degree
-Up to180 credits (QH) towards a Bachelor’s Degree
**Can be combined with Ch1606 for the same class(es)
