What is your opinion on the magazine front cover, what genre does it present and how is it presented?

The majority of the audience liked the style of my front cover, as it suited the ‘dull and different’ genre of my magazine, but some people thought that I could add more colour as it would make it look more effective and more eye catching. Nearly all of the audience understood what genre it was, due to the style and because of the interviews featured on the front as because of the style as it has a unique style.

Do you feel the contents page follows the rest of the magazine?

The audience believed that my magazine contents did follow the rest of the magazine as it followed the house style and also featured the title in the top corner to show it is from the same magazine. Some of the audience felt that I could have changed the background to a darker colour so it matched the darkness on the front cover as it looked different.

Do you feel the double page spread follows the same design as the rest of the magazine and does it intrigue the reader?

All the audience believe that my double page spread followed the magazine and the house style was the same, the style of writing was the same and the quality and professionalism was the same. They also thought it was intriguing due to the bright colours and the large photo as they were eye catching and made the reader want to see what it was about and due to the pull quote.

What is your overall opinion on the magazine and what do you feel could be improved?

The audience overall opinion was that it was a good styled magazine and that if they could, they would have bought it to read more. The only major problem was to add more colour to the front page but apart from that they believe it was created to a professional standard and that it look similar to most of the real magazine that are on sale now and could be a competitor.
