Feed and water Commercially prepared feeds should be used

as it supplies the correct balance of protein, vitamins and minerals necessary for the bird´s health and maximum production.

Poultry feeds are available from produce merchants in mash, crumbles or pellet form.

Water is necessary for all the living things as for as for poultry birds.

There are two systems of feeding in poultry.1. Manual feeding system (open shed)2. Automatic feeding system (control shed)

1. Manual feeding system:- In this system feed is given to birds

manually means with the help of workers or labourers.

A worker should always present there for continuous feed and water supply.

Keep feeders and drinkers in the shed to prevent wild birds accessing it-reduces feed loss and also the risk of possible transfer of avian influenza.

Self feeders are recommended as trays or troughs etc.

Commonly used Trays for chicks:-

To avoid feed wastage,adjust the height of the feeder trough level.

Don’t fill the troughs more than half-full.Clean the feeders regularly.Remove wet or mouldy feed.Feed should be available to birds all the time.There are more chances of viral infection in

manual feeding system.

Water supply in open shedsA traditional product which is widely used in

poultry, and very easy to use. You can just connect this with your water pipe, and keep the water on, the product will provide water to the chicken according to the willing to drink of the chicken.

adjust the height of the water pipe.with this product you can save a lot of water,

which means you can save your cost of feeding chicken.

2.Automatic feeding system (automatic pan feeding system):-

The pan is used on automatic pan feeding system.

There are 14 grills; pan feed 40-55 chicken per pan.

V shape bottom, reduce feedstuff waste, and can let the feedstuff fresh.

The bottom and body can be separate freely, so it's very convenient to clean.

There are 6 grades to adjust feed level, and it's only need to rotate the cylinder to adjust feed level.

Slide shutter-off can adjust feed amount from complete open to complete close.

Automatic feeding machineAutomatic feeding machine is widely used in  poultry forms.

Feeding machine is mainly made up of  frame,feeding box,feed sprocket,chain plate,electrical machine and so on.
