Festival of Music and Malt Fèis Ìle 2017
Islay Ales Open Day Wednesday 31st May 2017
Join us for our open day here at Islay House Square!
There will be banners and signs directing you to the square. Plenty of
parking available.
From 10:30am to 7:00pm
Beer Tent in the Square where there will be various cask ales available
as well as bottles of our ales, including the Big Peat Cask Matured Ale
and the Rock Oyster Cask Matured Ale! Also available will be cider from
Thistly Cross!
Tours of the brewery during the day (no need to book and no charge!) -
no set times but keep an ear out for announcements when the tours will
be happening!
Food available from Islay Oysters, Lynn’s Label, Canoe Club BBQ, Islay
Quilters with teas, coffees and home baking, Liz Sykes Batiks with her
vegetarian quiche.
Ice Creams and New Big Peat Marmalade available from M.A. Mackinnon
Marmalade!
RNLI souvenirs and personal appearance by Crofter!
Jane Mitchell with her An Gleann Tablet.
Brewery Shop open to purchase bottles and other items
Shops around the square will also be open during the day as well as the
Community Garden
In addition to the two Cask Matured Ales we have produced
with Douglas Laing & Co, the Douglas Laing team will join us
on our open day serving a selection of wonderful drams, includ-
ing Big Peat and Rock Oyster Malt Scotch Whiskies. Details of
Douglas Laing’s events during Fèis Ile can be found on their blog.

Join us in the evening for a Ceilidh.
Reely Jiggered will be providing the music
The Beer Tent will still be open selling various ales including the Big
Peat Cask Matured Ale and the Rock Oyster Cask Matured Ale!
There will be a BBQ in the evening serving burgers with a special BBQ
sauce produced by Derek Mather of Artisan Restaurant in Wishaw made
using our Kilchoman Dark ale.

Bruichladdich Open Day on Sunday 28th May 2017
We will be open throughout the week from 10:30am to 5:00pm so come
and see us here in the Square!
