Upon your arrival at Delhi’s inter-national airport our local representative will be waiting in the arrivals hall to greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check in. Remain-der of the day at leisure. Day 02: Sun, 17 Mar, 2019 Delhi (B/-/-)Our day starts with a morning tour of India’s capital, New Delhi. Built on the banks of the Yamuna river, New Delhi is a beautiful blend of a historical past and a vibrant present.

We start at India Gate in the centre of New Del-hi, a 42-metre high “Arc-de-Triomphe” like arch-way, a war memorial built to commemorate the 82,000 soldiers who partook in the undivided In-dian Army. We’ll drive past various government buildings such as the President’s Palace and the Parliament of India, before passing Huma-yun’s Tomb - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Bangla Sahab Gurudwara Sikh Temple.

We’ll stop at Connaught Place Station and join the locals on the metro to Old Delhi where we’ll walk through one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, before exploring the narrow streets of Chawri Bazar which specialises in selling brass, copper and paper products. Throughout the afternoon our guide will also introduce you to the wide range of street food snacks and delicacies, so you can get a taste of the delicious and varied Indian cuisine. Our walking tour will also take in a rick-shaw ride and the Jama Masjid mosque, one of the largest in India.

Day 03: Mon, 18 Mar, 2019 Delhi / Agra (232.41km - 3 hours 32 mins) (B/-/-)After breakfast, we depart Delhi and travel to Agra. Upon arrival we visit the legendary Taj Mahal. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, who trag-ically died in childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols. We then visit the im-pressive Agra Fort, before heading to the hotel

for check in.

Day 04: Tue, 19 Mar, 2019 Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Bharatpur (63km) (B/-/D)Today we drive to Bharatpur, with a stop en-route at Fatehpur Sikri, the former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. We check into the hotel in Bharatpur and in the afternoon, enjoy a bird watching tour from our comfortable rickshaws, in the famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the nesting place for thousands of species of birds.

Day 05: Wed, 20 Mar, 2019 Bharatpur / Abha-neri / Jaipur (204.8km) (B/-/-)We have an early departure this morning as we travel toward Jaipur. En-route to stop to explore the amazing Abhaneri step wells and if open, we visit a local school. Arriving in Jaipur, we explore the City Palace and Jantar Mantar - an ancient yet cleverly designed space observato-ry.

The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectur-al astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1734. The Jaipur observatory is the largest and best preserved of five such facilities that the Maharaja had built. The site has been inscribed on the World Heri-tage List as “an expression of the astronomical skills and cosmological concepts of the court of a scholarly prince at the end of the Mughal period”.

The City Palace is a palace complex located in the heart of Jaipur and includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces. Built be-tween 1729 and 1732 by Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amer, the Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence. The credit for the urban layout of the city and its structures is attributed to two architects namely, Vidyadar Bhattacha-rya, the chief architect in the royal court and Sir
