    Z2 Technology must be given immediate written notice of any defect and the Opportunity to inspect the product to determine whether a breach of warranty has occurred. This warranty covers only products installed at the original Installation

    location. All repairs or replacements covered by this warranty will be shipped to the destination point specified in the original order. The defective Product will, at Z2 Technology option, be either scrapped or returned to Z2 Technology atits expense and per its shipping instructions.

    Along with the passage of time optical fiber are becoming the widely used communication channel all over the globe as they provide a better solution to reliability and bottle neck bandwidth issues.

    A major issue behind every communication channel is the protection of data overthe channel. Splicing fiber optic cable for repair requires high quality bare fiber end faces to achieve high performance. Anomalies to the end faces can causehigh loss and degraded optical performance.

    Current tools to cleave optical fiber require a high degree of skill to master and need constant maintenance/ calibration to perform properly. This makes them inappropriate for use in harsh environment settings such as those found on military platforms

    To choose a fiber optic cable, you need to know the following:

    1) What type and grade of fiber is required?

    The system designer will have identified the fiber that is required for the network. Find the fiber type that is needed from the Fiber Specification and Selection Guide. Use the two-digit Z2 Technology Fiber Type code to identify the fiber.This code becomes the first two digits of the catalog part number, replacing the XX notation.

    2) How many fibers are required?

    The system designer will also have identified the number of fibers that will bein each cable. Fibers are usually cabled in groups of 6 or 12.

    3) What cable construction is needed?

    Fiber optic cables are single mode type and multimode types, and there are various kinds of the fiber optic cables used indoor or outdoor. Indoor fiber cables are used for cabling like in FTTx projects or for making cable assemblies, like various kinds of fiber patch cables. Outdoor fiber cables are used as backbones in the fiber optic communications, they are usually with strong PE jacket and large cable diameter. Outdoor use cables are generally more expensive than indoor u
