Hybrid through adapters provide a reliable, high performance link between dissimilar connector types in fibre optic networks.
Hybrid adapters come in a variety of styles to fit almost any application or panel requirements. These include simplex and duplex, polymer or metal shells, with flanged or threaded fittings.

BARE FIBRE ADAPTERS The unique Bullet® Bare Fiber Adapter enables easy temporary connection of bare fibre with all industry standard connectors.
Using this tool, any standard fibre connector can be quickly interconnected to a piece of unterminated (bare) fibre for service, test or maintenance tasks.
The Bullet® features removable / inter-changeable connector modules, and the adaptor body incorporates the micropad fibre holding system which can accommodate up to 900 µm fibre size.
The Bullet® is totally reusable, in the event of an internal fibre breakage, the unit can be disassembled and easily cleaned out using the cleaning wire provided.
The Bullet® is available individually or in a kit comprising the adapter body together with the full range of connector modules and accessories in a hard case.

In a plug-type attenuator, this function is embedded in an optical connector or adapter element to simplify optical network installation.

Mode Conditioning Patchcords provide a convenient, reliable method of connecting SM (1300nm) GbE transceivers to MM fibre plant.
A calibrated SM/MM fibre offset creates a launch similar to typical MM LED launches, reducing differential mode dispersion (DMD) which can generate signal errors.
Protected by a ruggedized enclosure, the assembly is fitted with high - spec connectors for consistent performance and reliability.
The easily installed custom length duplex patch cable has a yellow SM launch fibre for identification.
