IMPLEMENTATION PLAN: 2018

Improvements for 2018: The Programme Officer (PO) will hand in a detailed report about lifeskills every month. This will allow the FBF Operations and Education departments to monitor the lifeskills sessions every month. Overall goal: The purpose of lifeskills is to holistically develop Field Band Foundation members and empower them with information to make responsible decisions in life. The teaching of value and norms forms the core of lifeskills as it guides members to give meaning to life. It provides information to members about everyday issues they will face at school, at home and in interaction with their friends and the wider community. Objectives: With lifeskills sessions, member should be able to: • Acquire skills to cope with everyday life • Make informed decisions • Set personal goals • Seek help when needed • Contribute to their own community

Targeted participants: Members of the Field Band Foundation Roles and responsibilities: • The Project Officer (PO) has the overall responsibility, but can delegate as he / she sees fit. • The PO is responsible for planning weekly lifeskills session, together with the team, based on the

monthly topics provided in this document • PULSE (via the FBF education department) monitor the process through the monthly report and

score card. • PULSE is available for questions if needed

Important information: • Each month have different lifeskills topics • There are different topics for different age groups (age group 6-9, age group 10-13, age group 14-16

and age group 17-19) • You will find the lifeskills activities in the “FBF Lifeskills Maual”. All Field Bands have this manual. • A report has to be written every month. • Attached are forms with the lifeskills topics for every month for each age group.

Reporting requirement: The report is a part of the PO’s monthly report. The report should include details about:
