Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted foradmission to BBA/BA/ LL.B. at Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA. Please follow the procedurementioned below for smooth and flawless admission to Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA.

Admission Procedure

Admission Date:

July 06, 2011 (Wednesday) to July 11, 2011 (Monday)

Note: SLS-Noida will be closed on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

Admission timing: 09:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Candidates should carry/send their SET Admit Card and SET Score Card for admission(wherever applicable).

Documents required for admission:

Mark sheet and Certificate of passing the 10th Examination from the School/Board(Two Attested Photocopies) Original Copy required to be produced at the time ofadmission.

Certificate of passing the qualifying examination from the School/Junior collegeauthority (Two Attested Photocopies) Original Copy required to be produced at thetime of admission.

Mark sheet of Std. XII (for checking 50% in Std XII (General)/ 45% marks in case ofSC/ST) (Two Attested Photocopies)

If the results of 10+2 examination is not declared then a Certificate from the college /Institution of having appeared for the qualifying examination, the result of which hasnot been declared.

Original Copy of Migration Certificate and Two attested Copies of Migration Certificate Transfer Certificate or College Leaving Certificate (Two attested Copies) Category certificate issued by the competent authority. (Two attested copies) (If

admission is against the reserved category i.e. Schedules Caste, Scheduled Tribes,Differently Abled, or Kashmiri Migrants) Original Copy required to be produced at thetime of admission.

Gap certificate (Required in case there is a gap of one or more years between passingof the qualifying examination and admission to Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA)

Change of name if any supported by documentary evidence like Government Gazette. 6 copies of passport size photographs. Duly filled student information form (Annexure A) Undertaking signed by the candidate and the parent (Annexure B)

Payment of Fees:

Selected Candidates are required to pay yearly fees of Rs. 1,55,000/- (including Rs.5,000/- Caution Deposit) by Demand Draft drawn in favour ofSymbiosis Law School,Noidapayable at Delhi or Noida.

Refund rules:

As announced in the SIU prospectus for Under Graduate Programme 2011-2012.

Procedure for Refund of Fees:

To cancel admission you need to first inform the Institute immediately about your intentto cancel through a written communication / mail or else your withdrawal will not betreated valid from that date. Once you have communicated, the original challan copy ofthe fees paid, along with an application signed by the student must be sent to theinstitute. The refund application will then be processed. The time for the fees to berefunded after the stipulated deductions will take up to a fortnight.

Confirmation of seat by post w ith DD:

Candidates, who would like to confirm their seats without physically reporting at theSymbiosis Law School, Noida can do so, provided the Institute receives confirmationletter signed by the student along with the tuition fees amount by DD by post on orbefore toJuly 11, 2011 (Monday) by 06:00 pm along with above mentioned documents.In addition the candidate shall send confirmation mail along with scanned copy of theDemand Draft to the email [email protected] or before to July 11,2011 (Monday) by 06:00 pm. On the reverse of the Demand Draft candidate shallmention the name of the candidate and contact number(s).

The selected candidates who fail to take admission on or before the date and

time as mentioned in the merit list will forfeit his/ her claim to admission andthe seat w ill be offered to w ait-listed candidates. Requests for extension of the datewill not be entertained.

Accommodation and Catering Facility

Accommodation requests will be facilitated through Helpdesk on campus during theadmission hours. Food Court facility on campus is available.

As per the interim order of the Honble Supreme Court of India (WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) NO. 380/10), dated 03/12/2010,

Symbiosis International University, Pune is permitted to start its off-campus centre at Noida, admit students and conduct

classes. The said matter is pending before the Honble Supreme Court of India for final disposal. The copy of the order of the
