This is a very exciting time of the year for all of us.
The list of events seems to be endless - Graduations, First Communions, Baptisms,
Weddings, Vacations, Concerts, Memorial Day Celebrations and many more events that will call
upon our minds, hearts and attention.
A recent event that I attended was the ‘Retirement Ceremony’ for #8 worn by Michael Monteleone.
It was held on the 15th Anniversary of this Lincoln Student/Athlete's death.
At Nichols Field it was sad to remember the death of a young man full of hope, promise and vitality, but it was an honor to be present with his family and friends as he was remembered and honored. It was a moment when hope was renewed in the knowledge that Michael is remembered by his
community and that good is done in Michael’s name.
There are meetings that need the attention
of the community.
The reconvening of the Cemetery Advisory Committees for St. James and St. Ambrose.
The meetings will be :
St. James Cemetery Advisory Committee Tuesday May 21, 2019 - 7:30
St. James Parish Office
St. Wednesday Cemetery Advisory Committee Wednesday May 22, 2019 - 6:30
St. Ambrose Parish Office
‘GRATEFUL for God’s Providence’
Part of the Diocesan Capital Campaign is the parish component that focuses on the needs of
St. Ambrose Parish. We need to do some thinking about how we want to invest our
40% of all monies raised. Thus we will have a St. Ambrose Brainstorming Session on
Monday, June 13, 2019 at 7 PM
Bring our ideas, dreams and hopes for St. Ambrose Parish to share with the
community and Fr. Ferland.
All are welcome to this exciting time of sharing.

Our Lady’s Month of May
In a time of lost innocence, the faith of three children inspired
thousands and helped the world believe in miracles. Mary's messages at Fatima
have been promoted by Popes, approved by the Church, and
validated by over 70,000 witnesses. Fr. Jason Brooks brings to light why Fatima is regarded by many as the most
important spiritual event of the past 100 years. BONUS: Fr. Shannon Collins, retreat master and well known speaker on EWTN, explains the
intended impact and opportunity of the messages of Fatima on the spiritual lives of believers today.

“Hail Mary,
full of grace..”
“I give you a new commandment:*
love one another.
As I have loved you,
so you also should love one another.
This is how all will know that you are my disciples,
