You will need the following tools: - Ratchet - 8mm Socket - 11mm Socket - 13mm Socket - 15mm Socket - 18mm Socket - 21mm Socket - E6 External Torx Socket

Included in Kit: 2 - Frame Horn Reinforcement Brackets

Removal:1. Use a 13mm and 15mm Socket to remove the skid plate bolts (x6). Then, remove the skid plate from the truck. (Fig A)

2. Carefully pull off the front plastic piece of the bumper. There are no tools required for this step, it pulls off by hand. (Fig B)

3. Remove your Adaptive Cruise Control Module. To do this, use an 11mm Socket to remove the mounting nuts. Then, use an E6 External Torx Socket to remove the studs. Make sure to unplug the module as you remove it from the vehicle. (Fig C)

4. Remove the 8mm Bolt that holds on the bumper side support bar. Repeat this step on the other side of the vehicle. (Fig D)

Fig D 5. Remove the 21mm Nuts that hold on the bumper. There are three per side. Two of the nuts face the front (they were hidden behind the plastic piece you removed in Step 2). One of the nuts (per side) faces the rear of the vehicle and is accessible from underneath the truck. (Fig E)

6. Remove the bumper from the truck. As you are removing the bumper, be sure to pull the plastic clips that hold the rubber shroud to the top of the bumper. (Fig F)

Installation:

8. Set the Reinforcement Brackets in place. Secure them to the truck using the Bolts you removed in Step 7. If you plan on reusing your tow hooks, sandwich the brackets between the tow hooks and the frame. Also make sure the holes on the Brackets line up with the holes on the frame horns before you tighten these bolts. (Fig H)

9. Finish this installation by reversing this guide and reinstalling the bumper. When it comes time to mount the bumper, you must sandwich the frame horn between the bumper and the Reinforcement Bracket. If you are in-stalling an aftermarket bumper, use the hardware that comes with the bumper, but still sandwich the frame horn between the bumper and the Reinforcement Bracket. (Fig I)
