File Jockey version 1.5.3 is ready for you
We have implemented a fix to support file versions in IBM Connections. If a user is overwriting a file with a new version (from a WebDAV app) to IBM Connections (My Files, Folders and Community Files and Library) the previous version of this file will be saved under versions. In addition the tags and other settings will remain.
Note, not all WebDAV apps and programs follow the WebDAV standard when they are overwriting a file. Some apps have implemented their own method when they are uploading a new file version. File Jockey cannot support these apps. For the important apps we will try to convince the app owner to adjust their coding.
Apps supported: PDF Expert, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Notability and Bitkinex
Apps not supported: GoodReader (we have informed the supplier)
Please also check out our roadmap for version 2.0.0 expected release date summer 2014. In the summer of 2014 we will deliver the same feature for IBM Quickr users.
