1 Inleiding
Microsoft is voornemens om twee 36 MW datacenters te bouwen in het Agriport gebied van de
gemeente Hollands Kroon. Voor deze activiteiten dient conform de indieningsvereisten nadere
technische informatie te worden verstrekt over de diesel aangedreven noodstroomaggregaten.
2 Technische informatie
In het ontwerp zijn 2 stuks 500kW dieselgeneratoren en 40 stuks 3,3MW dieselgeneratoren
geprojecteerd. De gevraagde technische informatie van deze generatoren is in de onderstaande
tabellen weergegeven. Deze informatie is conform de technische gegevens zoals ontvangen van de
fabrikant (zie bijlagen).

Prime power ratings apply to installations where utility power is unavailable or unreliable. At varying load,
the number of generator set operating hours is unlimited. A 10% overload capacity is available for one hour
in twelve. Ratings are in accordance with ISO 8528-1, ISO 3046-1, BS 5514, AS 2789 and DIN 6271.
Average load factor: < 75%.

Rated power is without fan drive. The power consumption of any fan drive has to be deducted during designing of a generator set.
Liquid-cooled, four-stroke diesel engine, counter-clockwise direction of rotation (viewed on driving end)
with the following basic equipment:
Grey cast-iron crankcase, flywheel housing SAE 01, flywheel 14”, oil pan, forged crankshaft, forged
connecting rods, four-valve cylinder head, light-metal solid skirt pistons, piston cooling via oil spray nozzle,
dry exhaust manifolds, vibration damper; all necessary on-engine air, exhaust, coolant, fuel and oil pipework.
“Common-Rail” fuel injection system, with low- and high-pressure fuel pumps, fuel pressure accumulator,
high pressure fuel lines and electronically controlled injection, fuel main filter (duplex filter), fuel priming
pump for initial system filling and venting (low-pressure system),
closed fuel system.
Forced-feed lubrication system with piston cooling, lube oil circulation pump with safety valve, lube oil
multi-stage filter, lube oil heat exchanger, oil filler neck and oil dipstick for measurement on non-running
engine, closed crankcase venting system
Exhaust turbochargers, Intercooler integrated in radiator

directives and their amendments, and the CEI 2-3, EN 60034-1, IEC 34-1, VDE 0530,
BS4999-5000, CAN/CSA-C22.2 N°14 -N°100 regulations.

6.3 Earth leakage relais
The X52DS series earth leakage relays are designed to measure the leakage or unbalance currents caused by
conductors or appliances insulation losses and to react, in case the set limits are exceeded, switching off the
power supply to the defective system.
Main features and functions:
- Wide range of trip currents and delays to guarantee the necessary selectivity in order to keep in
operation the parts of the system not involved in the fault.
- Three ranges of tripping current and two of delay to increase the setting accuracy.
- Continuous check of the good connection with the toroidal transformer, performed an the measuring
winding, with trip action in case of negative result.
- Selectable manual or automatic reset.
- Selectable normal or positive safety operating mode of the trip contacts.
- Inputs for remote reset.
