the xml-based data exchange format is a proprietary format

we get already XBRL files, but the data is mapped into the report orientated structure of the legacy system

semantical information are lost

From a technically point of view the underlying data model is insufficient for the new challenges

Advantages

Change from a template centred approach to a data centred approach

only validated data reach the system and are saved in the Data base

the process is more automated the submitter gets an electronic feedback

the supervisors have only to clarify difficult issues
