Question 6)What content would you expect from a film

magazine• As we are only creating a front

cover, we have to engage our audience by the use of cover lines and images. To do this, research shows that they prefer reviews and behind the scenes.

• Examples of cover lines can be; – Predators, release of the year?– Massive special preview

• Both of these cover lines dont give the audience any information, engaging them more with the magazine

Question 8) Should the cover lines represent the crime

genre?• Our previous question was

asking about what content should be on the cover. The results on this question show that they only want crime cover lines, linking to other films.

• This also attracts a larger male audience as this is our preferred target audience and if they see crime genre cover lines, they would more likely be interested in the magazine

Question 9) What conventions do you expect to see

• Convetions have to stay the same, based on David Chandlers genre theory. From this, the audience have shown that a crime movie magazine and poster should contain a sense of violence, which can be shown through facial expressions or physical violence.

• Mise-en-scene can also represent this from the use of suits (represented with mafia’s, or rugged tracksuits, more London based gangs)
