Phone ringing in a girl’s handbag, the fact that her father is saved under ‘daddy’ shows the stereotype that she is a daddy’s girl and is precious. This shot hints that something is wrong, as the phone is not being answered, also there are missed calls on the phone too, which adds to the though of something bad happening. This is important as it is building up the story, the audience will want to know why she isn’t answering, why he is ringing her so much and more.
