filming checklist - day 3

1
Checklist for the Third Day of Filming We made another checklist to arrange, plan and prepare the equipment and other things we need to remember all on one sheet, to go with the plan we made for the cast and production tem. We plan to film the front door scene on Saturday 13th February, which sows the meeting of the two characters Richard and David. All the things we had to consider are shown in the box below. We will pack two cameras and microphones to go with them to pick up the sound. Two cameras will be needed, along with the tripods to film from Richards’s angle and David’s angle. This means when it comes to editing, we will have reaction shots of the two characters and the continuity of the two clips will be better than filming from just the one camera. We will charge the batteries beforehand; however, we will put a battery in each camera when taking the equipment and pack two more, to prevent them from running out. We will also we will also pack a microphone for each camera to pick up the sound. As the door way is quite dark, we will need to pack two lights and stands to balance out the brightness. By doing this; we should hopefully be able to see the facial expressions of Richard clearer. We will also pack two copies of the script for each actor, in case they forget to bring theirs. This will help the pace and continuity of our film. We will also bring a copy of the story board sheets, so we can plan the shot in advance and get it set up before the cast arrive.
