Shot Reverse Shot

o This is where there are 2 camera filming the same thing.

o Both cameras are used when it comes to the edit.

o It is often used for in conversation pieces are the people in the scene can be seen from face on.

(SRS)

Match on Actiono This is aiming the shot up so that it flows seamlessly so

that the background matches in each shot. o An example of this is a man doing a running scene. Each

shot has to match up so it looks like it’s all filmed in one shot.

Cut-Awayo This is where there is a shot included that is in a different

location to where the filming is talking place.

o It tells the audience a clue about the narrative.

o An example is a student running the 100m on Sports Day when the camera cuts to a piece of glass which shows the audiences something is going to happen.
