GENERAL INFORMATIONWELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues,

The Role of Internist in Cancer Management (ROICAM), held since 2012,has always gained great response among doctors, especially Internistsand other doctors that linked to Hematology and Cancer from all over

Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua. This event also has been a ended eachyear with increasing number of par cipants.

The increasing number of pa ents treated for cancer in primary andsecondary Health Services with mul disciplinary approach in The Na onalHealth Insurance (JKN) era creates the necessity for doctors to increasetheir knowledge, skills and insights to provide be er health service quality.

Hematology and Medical Oncology as a division of Internal Medicine has adominant role in cancer systemic therapy, therefore the ROICAM 4 eventis expected to allow fellow doctors to gain the knowledge and importantinforma on about ever-evolving medicine for cancer systemic treatment.

ROICAM 4 in 2016 will display newest issues, such as: Immunotherapyon Cancer Management, problems in health service on The Na onalHealth Insurance (JKN) era, Bone Marrow Transplanta on, Stem Cells, alsoadvancement in cancer suppor ve treatment, such as blood componenttransfusion, anemia, thrombosis, cancer pain, and updates on systemictherapy, including newest medica ons on the treatment of most frequentcancers; i.e. breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, andmany more. Expert speakers in their elds, from all over Indonesia andabroad with topic varia ons will assure the quality of Symposia and Workshopsin ROICAM 4.

ROICAM 4 is expected to be be er than before, advantageous, andapplicable for all par cipants, so that health services towards pa entspar cularly in Hematology and medical Oncology in Indonesia will bebe er.

This precious event is not so o en held, it will be unfortunate if you missthis great workshop and symposium.
