Integrated Energy Solutions for Every Community
2013
FINAL PROGRAM#Markham2013Register at: QUESTCANADA.ORGWWW
To participate in Canada’s only conference and tradeshow dedicated to Integrated Community Energy Solutions .
The QUEST 2013 Conference & Tradeshow takes place November 12 - 14 in Markham, Ontario.
It will attract up to 400 delegates from across Canada and internationally, up to 50 exhibitors, and will feature leading practitioners and decision makers from all levels of government, utilities, the energy industry, the real-estate sector, economic regulators, the professional service sector, non-profits and academia.
This year’s event is called “Integrated Energy Solutions for Every Community”. It will feature cutting edge discussions about the integration of energy across land use, buildings, transportation, water and waste in order to use energy more efficiently at the community level.
Currently, hundreds of communities in Canada - including urban, rural, and northern and remote - are implementing Integrated Community Energy Solutions. From Vancouver’s sewage heat recovery to Halifax’s deep water cooling; from Guelph’s Community Energy Plan to Fort McMurray’s landfill gas
CHP system; and from Nelson’s on-bill financing for energy conservation to Markham’s natural gas powered district energy system: Integrated Community Energy Solutions are on display across Canada.
What lessons do these applications hold? And what opportunities lie ahead for communities of every size and geography?
QUEST2013 offers the opportunity to showcase achievements, explore leading innovations, build networks, and forge ahead with the implementation of Integrated Community Energy Solutions in every community across Canada.
Energy production, delivery and use at the community level has taken centre stage.
QUEST’s 7th annual Conference & Tradeshow is a unique opportunity to talk shop with
the players who can make a difference.
