    INTRODUCTION

    The main toic of this didactic unit is The !amily Mem"ers# it gives enough tools to the students$ not

    only to learn the voca"ulary related$ recognizing it from %ords$ ictures and sounds# "ut also to ma&e

    %ritten and oral roductions$ at the same time that they are a"le to use it in their daily routines.

    JUSTI#ICATION

    Through this didactic unit ' %ant to give imortance to the family. 't can "e said that the family is the

    first school in charge of giving a good formation to the human "eing$ and may"e it is the most

    imortant one "ecause in this environment is %here eole get their first exeriences and values. The

    family gives shae to its mem"ers# and here it is %here they learn values$ attitudes$ "ehaviors and

     rinciles$ %hich %ill allo% them to live in society.

    OBJECTI$ES

    Comm!i%ative: 'ntroducing the mem"ers of the family to others$ tal&ing a"out family mem"ers# for 

    examle their li&es$ disli&es$ rofessions$ etc.

    /ET0ODOLOGY

    4egarding methodology$ ' refer to use the 5irect Method# it is the most suita"le "ecause it allo%s

    students to erceive meaning directly through the target language$ %hich in this case is (nglish. To

    guarantee understanding$ ' %ill use visual and hearing aids %ith students# at the same time ' %ill

    include antomime to give a "etter idea a"out the voca"ulary and concets. The goal is to get students

    to communicate as if they %ere in real situations. !our s&ills are emhasized and grammar is learnt

    inductively. 6ith this method students must thin&$ use and "e involved in the (nglish language#

    sea&ing is the most imortant a"ility and reading and %riting come later %ith some time and ractice.

    There are interaction "et%een teacher and students and "et%een students themselves$ "ut mainly it is a

    method that is teacher7directed.
