The Texas STaR Chart Mission:

The Long-Range Plan is designed to help teachers, campuses, and

districts determine their progress for meeting the state recommended

technology goals.

The Texas STaR Chart is an assessment tool that focuses on four key areas of the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology:

Teaching and Learning Educator Preparation and Development Leadership Administration and Instructional Support Infrastructure for Technology

Learners will have 24/7 access to technologies, tools, resources, and services for individualized instruction

Communicate in a variety of formats for diverse audiences.

In all subject areas students will use research based strategies to improve academic achievement.
