Financial Services
AFS Licensing : If your financial services business will be
involved in dealing, advice, operating a registered scheme or the underwriting of financial products, unless an exemption applies, you will need to obtain an Australian Financial Services Licence. We have extensive knowledge and experience in the AFS license application process, including ASIC’s requirements established by the Corporations Act, its regulations, State and Federal Australian Consumer Law and the relevant Regulatory Guides
We can also advise you upon the legal requirements for your compliance plan and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing plan.
AC Licensing : If your business is engaged in a credit activity with
consumers and the credit is predominantly for (a) personal, domestic or household purposes or (b) residential investment purposes and the new National Credit Code applies to your business, you will be unable to operate that business without an Australian Credit Licence. We have extensive knowledge and experience in the AC licensing application process including ASIC’s requirements established by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, the National Credit Code and the relevant Regulatory Guides.

Financial Services :We provide a range of bespoke financial services to
assist you in effecting a variety of financial arrangements. All of our financial services are provided with an underlay of tax advice (i.e. CGT, transfer duty and GST) and asset protection advice. In circumstances where you wish to develop and manage financial strategies in respect of your superannuation, insurance or investments, the assistance of an accountant and/or financial planner is often essential to ensure the proposed scheme will be effective in achieving your intended outcome.
Our team works closely with our client’s accountants and financial planners to ensure that the right mix of industry and technical skills are used in the formation and implementation of financial strategies designed to avoid tax pitfalls and identify financial opportunities.
