What we have done:PINFOR 1998 to 2016Goals: Promote sustainable forest

production. Incorporate land devoid of forest to

forestry. To generate a critical mass of forests

producing raw materials. Encourage the maintenance and

creation of forests to generate environmental services.

ImpactsInvested US $ 243 million in:• Establishment and management of

forest plantations,• Sustainable management of natural

forests, and• Forestry for environmental purposes 28.7 million jobs,4 million farmers (30% women).

PINPEP 2007-2042Goals: Participation of holders of small

tracts of land in the benefits of incentives.

Incorporate the modality of agroforestry systems.

Fostering gender equity. Generate employment in the rural

area. Fostering forest biodiversity.ImpactsInvested US$64.7 million in:• Establishment and management of

forest plantations and agroforestry systems.

• Management of natural forests for protection and production purposes

5.8 million jobs,192 thousand farmers (64% women).

PROBOSQUE 2017-2046Goals: NFM Protection: 375,000 ha. NFM Production: 125,000 ha. Plantations: 200.000 ha. (industrial),

100,000 ha. (energetic) AFS´s: 300,000 ha. Reforestation: 200,000 ha.

wood, firewood and coal; and• 455 export enterprises.

Technical Institute of Training and Productivity (Intecap): • 3,423 furniture manufacturing (89% micro-enterprises).• 50,000 jobs.
