1. KEEP IT lOCal: As you’re talking to your local market you can be really specific, like ‘meet your local butcher…’ or ‘welcome to your local florist in Ranelagh’, or ‘special offer for residents of Milltown’

6. FOllOw-UP: Sometimes a reminder postcard or follow-up postcard can add a boost to your response rate. You could test a follow-up postcard to see if there is an impact.

7. TRaCK anD MEaSURE: Make sure to track the response to your campaign, encourage customers to bring in the postcard to redeem your offer. You could also do something as simple as write down the amount of the sale on each postcard so you can compare the cost of the campaign against the return.
