 From the humble beginnings of a one-man residential painting operation almost 20 years ago, Fine Point has developed into a full service construction solutions provider with a core team of approximately 40 full-time journeymen serving clients in both the commercial & residential marketplaces.

Whether operating in the primary or subcontractor position, our commitment to total-quality solutions for our clients is unyielding and proven. This commitment to delivering unmatched results has been the primary catalyst to our continued growth and has afforded us the opportunity to work on some of the valley’s most recognized properties.

Beyond individual / one-off projects, we also provide ongoing construction related services for those who manage government facilities & school districts, commercial, retail & mixed-use properties, as well as those managing multi-family & single-family home developments.

As Fine Point’s Corporate Relations Director, I’m interested in developing meaningful, long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with larger Commercial General Contractors. For that reason I haveincluded information about Fine Point that will enable you to gain perspective into the types of projects we have worked on as well as a list of some of our more recent projects and clients.

Our core competencies are, in regards to performing in the subcontractor position for larger Commercial General Contractors, painting, drywall, metal stud framing, custom finishes & specialty coatings. We are very agile and have the ability to execute in scenarios requiring 24-hour a day performance.

Anthony FordOwner

Anthony has been in the construction industry most of his life and in 2001 focused on painting & constom finishes for both the commercial & residential marketplaces.

Although Fine Point Painting was operating as a DBA prior, in 2006 he registered Fine Point FInishes, LLC with the AZ ROC and in 2012 registered as a B-2 Commercial Contractor.

Anthony is an avid outdoor sportsman and spends the majority of his free time with his family either at the lake, at the dunes, or playing chauffer for his two youngest children, Aubree & Ayden!

Brad FordGeneral Manager

Since graduating high-school, Brad has worked in various aspects of the construction industry. He developed his knowledge and leadership skills working through the ranks of two of the valley’s most prominent residential home builders, eventually serving as a primary production supervisor for both.

Brad enjoys his off time playing golf, at the lake, or exploring any mumber of the off-road trails Arizona has to offer.

Jim BatesCorporate Relations

Jim moved to Arizona after leaving the NAVY in 1994 where he served two tours in the Mid-dle East and a brief excursion in Bosnia. Within a few years he had built a small personal portfolio of 47 single family homes, exiting the market in early 2006.

Since that time he has been involved multiple startups serving as a co-founder or advisor. He joined the Fine Point team in 2014 as the Corporate Relations Director.

When not working on developing new relationships (and sometimes while building new re-altionahips!), Jim can be found on the links, chasing a little white ball around.

Jerry CarterLead Estimator

For the 18 years prior to joining the Fine Point team, Jerry owned and operated his own paint company serving both the Las Vegas & Phoenix markets. After retiring, Jerry spent two years hanging around the house only to realize that his missed the day to day challenges and joys of being around a team talented and motivated individuals. In 2012, Jerry joined the Fine Point team!

Jerry spends the majority of his free time with his 8 grandchildren and hanging out with his best friend Sharon, who happens to be his wife of 29 years.

Doug BartekEstimator/Project Manager

Doug is an Estimtator, Project Manager, and Emergency Damage Services Team Lead. Doug joined the Fine Point team in 2012, bringing over 12 years of prior restoration industry experience.

This former Marine is a happily married father that loves spending time playing golf and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers & Pirates!

Jim SandyPaint Superintendent

Jim joined the Fine Point team in 2013 after spending the 18 years as the lead paint superintendent for Sombrero Painting.

Jim is an avid hunter and competitive fisherman, and plays host to several guided excursions each year. He and his lovely wife of 28 years have one daughter and one granddaughter.

Luis NavarroDrywall Superintendent

Luis has over 20 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry. Prior to Fine Point, Luis was the lead Drywall Superintendent for E&K Companies for 16+ years.

Luis spends the majority of his free time on his ranch tending to his livestock. He can also be spotted at any number of car auctions at any given time looking for another project car to buy and restore.

Sharon CarterAdministration

For 18 years, before to joining the Fine Point team, Sharon worked with her husband Jerry. After retiring with Jerry, and enjoying two years at home, she decided to join him here at Fine Point when he made the decision to come out retirement and be an integral part of the team.

When not tied to her desk or catering to the whims of her grandchildren, Sharon dedicates a great deal of her time to social & community outreach projects with her church.

Lori UriasBilling

Although Lori’s background is in Art Education, prior to joining Fine Point Lori worked for several major financial institutions in their respective processing departments. She continues to teach art classes in her spare time when she’s not hunting zombies with her son!

Ann KerrAccounting

Ann has spent the last 16 years as an integral part of multiple companies’ accounting teams primarily within the construction industry. When not at Fine Point, Ann spends most of her time between her family and her horses, if the two can be discerned that is!
