Community Development

Community Development is the process through whichcitizens participate in identifying and implementingsolutions to overcome shared challenges and improve thequality of life for all.

It is an approach to achieve social change, based on theunderstanding that disadvantage and social injustice cannotbe tackled by top-down solutions alone. It challengesdisadvantage and social inequalities.
