No two people have the same fingerprints, not even Identical twins. That is why fingerprints are used to identify people.
• The skin is the largest organ in the body.• Our skin has two main layers:1. The epidermis2. The dermis
Epidermis
• The epidermis is the outer layer of the skin• It is made up of dead skin cells.

Dermis• The dermis is the inner layer that is
alive and contains blood vessels, glands, nerve cells, and hair roots.
• The dermis is much thicker than the epidermis.
• You can’t see your dermis because it is hidden under your epidermis.

DermisIf you touch something hot, the nerve endings in your dermis respond right away: "Ouch! That's hot!"
