DEGREE WORKS.THE BIG PICTURE. IT’S IN THE DETAILS.Degree Works is a web-based tool you can use to check your progress on the path to graduation. It’s basically a do-it-yourself degree audit. Use it to monitor your academic goals and major/degree and graduation requirements so there won’t be any surprises when you apply for graduation.

What’s a degree audit? It’s a review to make sure you are meeting the requirements for your degree program and are on track to graduate. You’ll need at least 120 credit hours for graduation. You’ll also need to maintain at least a C average, fulfill your Core Curriculum requirements, and the courses and electives specific to your major and minor. It’s a lot to keep track of. But Degree Works makes it easy.

WHAT DOES DEGREE WORKS DO?• Keeps track of the academic requirements for degree

completion.

• Identifies courses you need, including prerequisites and co-requisites (courses you take at the same time).

• Keeps track of your individual course grades, cumulative GPA and major GPA.

• Verifies how transfer credit hours have been used to your degree completion.

• Keeps track of all the courses you’ve taken or transferred, and how many count toward your degree and elective credit.

• Helps you plan the courses you need for future semesters.

• Estimates the number of semesters remaining until your degree is complete.

• Shows you options for how your courses can apply to a different major, minor or concentration.

• Shows the status of your application for graduation and verifies that your degree is awarded.

• Keeps “Notes” for critical courses that must be taken in a specific semester.

• Provides a chronological list of your class history (unofficial transcript) you can download at any time.

WHERE TO FIND DEGREE WORKS1. Access your SalukiNet account with your

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW• All currently enrolled undergraduate students

should use Degree Works to monitor their progress towards degree completion.

• Although Degree Works audit is official and used for degree clearance it does not take the place of regular academic advising.

• Degree Works helps you and your academic advisor see how far you’ve come and how close you are to graduation eligibility.
