    Flowers and Dragonflys

For this box, I punched out flower and dragonfly shapes in green and purple paper. Iused a strip of flower paper 1.5cm wide across the bottom of the bottom flap, and thenused a corner rounding punch on the two corners. I cut another square of the samepaper 6cm x 6cm. Rounded it's corners as well, and adhered that to the box. Then Irandomly placed the punched shapes over the box.

    Stamped Flower

For this box I used the stampin up set "two step stampin PETAL PRINTS".I randomly stamped the leaf pattern over the light purple card at the beginning. Istamped the two step flower onto white card, cut it out to 5.3cm x 5.3cm and roundedthe corners with a corner punch. I cut out a contrasting blue square 6cm x 6cm andagain rounded it's corners. I stuck the flower inage onto the blue square. Using thesame colour blue paper, I adhered a strip 1.5cm wide along the bottom of the top flap, and then rounded the corners with the corner punch. Matching blue ribbon was used.

Fold the bottom edge of the paper up 2 inches (5 cm) and sharply creasethe fold. When youre done, unfold. Note for later that this will become the

o Locate the center points of the top and bottom edges. To do this, either

measure with a ruler or simply lift the paper, maintain the orientation,

bring the short sides together as though you were folding the whole thing

in half, and pinch the top and bottom of the would-be fold to mark where

the center of each long side is. Lightly mark these spots with a pencil.

o Mark the paper again a half inch (13 mm) to both the left and right ofeach center point. When youre done, you should have six marks total:

three centered within one long edge of your paper and three centered

    within the other.

o Bring the right edge of the paper to the left-most pencil lines and fold.

Once the fold is properly creased, unfold. Repeat the inverse on the

    opposite side.

o Flip the paper over, re-fold the left and right sides downward toward the

center, and glue them where they overlap. Be sure to fold along the same

lines as before (but note that the folds will be inverted). Let the glue dry

completely before moving on to the next step.

    5. 5

Flip the bag over so that it sits glued-side-down. Make sure to orient it so

that one of the open ends points toward you.

    6. 6

Fold the side-creases inward to create a slight accordion effect.

    16/19

o Fold the bag four inches (10 cm) up from the bottom and crease it along

    this line.

o Keeping the rest of the bag flattened, prop open up the bottom of the

bag. The inward-flaring creases should pop open, forming a square edge.

Inside, you should see a triangle of folded paper on either side.

o Fold the left and right sides of the open, square-shaped bottom

completely down. Use the outermost edge of each interior triangle as aguide. When youre done, the bottom area should have 8 sides like an

elongated octagon instead of 4 sides like it had before.

o Fold the bottom strip of the octagon upwards towards the center of the

    bottom of the bag.

o Fold the top strip of the octagon downwards towards the center of the

bottom of the bag. The bottom should now be neatly folded shut; glue

the edges where they overlap and let dry.

    8. 8

Pop the bag open. Make sure the bottom is completely closed off and thatthere are no gaps in the glued edges.
