Through thirty years of experience as manufacturers and suppliers of many prestigious Fire Brigades and thanks to the suggestions received from those who use our products every day, we

have developed and implemented the new fire fighting helmet certified according the European Standard EN 443:2008.

The helmet has a modern design, is sturdy and extremely comfortable to protect the user from all potentially hazardous situations that may occur during its activity.

VFR EVO

During crash accidents in which at the time of assistance various dangers may occur (explosions collapses, splinters, contact with chemicals).

During structured fires with extremely high temperatures, falling of debris, flash-over phenomena and poor visibility.

MAIN USES

During technical assistance in which may occur, during the long rescue operations, potential hazards such as unstable soils, environmental risks, structural, fire and other efforts extended.

During outdoors fires with extreme temperatures of radiant heat phenomena and potential caustic or explosive

materials.

The new helmet VFR EVO is among the lightest and safest in the category of type B (integral protection). Its innovative shell made of thermoplastic material/composite, combined with the revolutionary internal padding molded PUR/Kevlar with honeycomb sandwich structure, a reliable protection from thermal and mechanical effects and the plastic material reinforced with glass fibers and aramid allows to resist to extreme temperatures blocking the effect of flames and radiant heat during a flash-over phenomena.

360° protection

The size adjustment system four-point adjustment (Cross-ratchet) by an adjustment wheel easily accessible and maneuverable, allows the helmet to fit in a simple and secure way to every morphology of the head.

SAFETY IN DESIGN Tts ergonomic design and multiple adjustment points allow to obtain an optimal balance by distributing the weight evenly on the head without straining the muscles of the neck and shoulders.

Inside, the mesh suspension system allows to distribute the weight evenly on the head eliminating the pressure points that can cause after prolonged use, discomfort to user, ensuring good ventilation and an optimal microclimate.

It’s available with some colors of the shell or with black, gold and metallic finish. It’s possible to realize customization upon request.

FRONT PLATE

The standard configuration includes a reflective face shield combined with the transparent eye screen. Alternative configurations are possible. All the shields are certified EN 14458 optical class 1.

For the connection of themost common communication systems.

Made of tecnopolymers and composite material extremely resistant to high temperatures and mechanical stresses.

EXTERNAL SHELL

Located on both sides, allow the handling of the screen without touching it and bringing the

hands to the face. The shape and the size allow an easy handling even with gloves.

MOVEMENT LEVERSOF TRANSPARENT EYE SCREEN

The inner shell helps to absorb shocks and perforations and is made of polyurethane foam molded with a honeycomb structure reinforced Kevlar™

INTERNAL SHELL

The attachment of the gas masks equipped with two points quick coupling. The

adjustment in three positions provides an excellent seal face / mask with all the

morphologies of the face.

Aesthetics and functionality

The helmet has on both sides of the shell a universal connection for two points gas masks, individually adjustable, which makes it compatible with all the masks on the market and creates a combination mask/helmet efficient and safe.

The helmet VFR EVO can be customized to meets specific needs, becoming an element of personal recognition. It can be configured with front plates with the coat of arms of belonging, reflective stripes in different colors with the option of identification of the rank by stripes specially shaped (Rank marking).

Face shields and eye screen, certified according to EN 14458 and EN 166 Standards are of the highest optical quality (optical class 1), resistant to high

temperatures and protect safely the eyes and face from the high heat, electricity, particles and liquid chemicals.

The two external levers allow an easy handling of the screen wearing the gloves, avoiding that the same have the contact with the shield, face and eyes of the user.

The reflective stripes for increase the visibility in adverse conditions, allowing a personal identification coordinating it with the intervention suit.

Thanks to the reduction and optimization of the assembled components, the helmet VFR EVO requires an easy maintenance which can be done in a simple

and practical way .It’s possible disassemble and reassemble completely the helmet with few procedures. Each components are easily replaceable with standard tools

included in the packaging. All components can be washed and disinfected with common cleansers manually or by mechanical industrial /washing.

Our internal laboratory, equipped with the most modern machinery, using the best technology, it’s able to perform all the necessary tests to check that each helmet VFR EVO

produced meets the high quality Standard required and the European Standard.

Maintenance Kits are available for:Cleaning and disinfection of the helmet, repair of any scratches on the shell, clean the visors,

the re-make of the anti-fog treatment

On request are available maintenance manuals and detailed lists of spare parts

Multiple variants of neck protection allow free mobility. The coverage in Nomex specially designed and shaped, allows to protect your helmet on every training situation, prolonging the duration of the usage.

Bags and carrying bags allow a better storage and transport.

MAINTENANCE

A wide range of optional accessories complete the helmet VFR EVO. All the most important fire fighting lamps can be used with the helmet by means of special adapters on both sides of the shell and tilted up to 37° in order to fully perfectly and widely illuminate the work area.

Inside the helmet is possible to insert communication systems compatible with the main radio equipments on the market ensuring a reliable transmission even in the presence of high noisiness.
