The Fire Mock Drill is conducted on 27.06.2012 near PA&FD Fans area at KTPS VI-Stage. Fire is started

at 10:52 Hrs and Fire Quenching operations are carried out from 10:58 Hrs. onwards. The Fire is completely Quenched

off at 11-22 Hrs. The DE/Safety, ADE/Safety/KTPS V and ADE/safety/KTPS VI and Fire Staff had given training to the

participants regarding operation and fixing of Fire Hose Nozzles, Hoses to Hydrants and Fire quenching Techniques to

Staff present to Fire Mock Drill.

OPERATIONS CARRIED OUT DURING FIRE MOCK DRILL ON 27.06.2012 AT 10:52 HRS.

Near PA&FD Fans area -XI Unit KTPS VI STAGE

Time Operations Carried out

1. 10:52 Hrs.: Fire is observed by Sri Ch.Ramesh ,Sub Engineer

/Shift/ESP/VI Stage while carrying Out ESP -XI Unitworks at area .2. 10:52 Hrs. : Sri . Ch.Ramesh ,Sub Engineer /Shift/ESP immediately

intimated to Sri B.Adinarayana / ADE/Shift/Boiler/ VI Stage byshouting FIRE-FIRE- FIRE

3. 10:54 Hrs. : Sri B.Adinarayana / ADE/Boiler/AHP/ VI Stage immediatelyinformed over phone to Fire Station and requested to sendthe Fire Tender immediately for fire quenching operations.

4. 10:55 Hrs. : Sri B.Adinarayana / ADE/Shift/Boiler/ VI Stage and their staff.are attended the spot along with Fire hoses and

Nozzles from ESP -XI Unit connected to Hydrant point

and started fire quenching operations5. 10:56 Hrs : Sri B.Adinarayana / ADE/Shift/Boiler/ VI Stage, immediatelytelephoned to DE/Shift/UCB, CE/O&M / KTPS/V&VI-Stage &SE / E&M-I, Factory Manager, Safety officer, SecurityOfficer, DE/General and requested to arrange assistance andto witness the fire .

6. 10:57 Hrs.: The Fire Tender Staff along with Fire Tender attended to thespot.

7. 10:59 Hrs. : The Fire Staff connected the Fire Hoses to Hydrant pointand started Fire quenching operations. .

8. 11.00 Hrs. : The DE/safety, ADE/Safety/VI, and other senior officials andother staff attended to the spot for assisting and witnessing

the fire quenching operations.9. 11:02 Hrs. : The Fire Staff and other existing staff completely quenched off

the fire near PA&FD Fans area .10. 11:12 Hrs. : The Fire Tender staff Trained the following Staff gathered at

near PA&FD area in Fire quenching operations.11. 11:22 Hrs.: After ensuring as no more fire in that area and after giving

training to the staff all the staff members including FireTender Staff left the spot.
