The following provides an overview of the fire management operations to be conducted within the PINP
reserves in order to achieve the objectives of this PINP Fire Management Plan 2011/12.
Spring 2011
Slash all firebreaks within the Nature Park, including the following areas with staff responsible:

Conduct Prescribed burns, if conditions and staffing permit, in order of timing as below (see following
maps for exact sites)
1. Oswin Roberts - centre west
2. VKR – north east corner, west and south sections
3. Berrys Beach – north and south east sections
4. Berrys Beach – kikuyu section late autumn after Shearwaters have left
5. Cape Woolamai (Princeton Ave) - late autumn after Shearwaters have left
