Mini Bus accident
Following an incident involving a minibus in a road traffic accident, PT will be advising DPs to review their incident response and in particular, what arrangement are in place to transport a Team back (from residential or on route from an activity) if the minibus is involved in a road traffic accident. PT will also be asking all to reinforce safe stopping distances, with staff and the need to maintain them.
There is a new Information Sheet (help note) entitled “Blood and body fluid spills”. Info sheet creation stems from lessons learned following an incident involving an employed participant. The employed participant assisted in the cleanup of blood after a YP injured themselves, and it was felt that additional guidance around this activity was required. The Info sheet is on the DP pages
