enrollment examination that candidates can schedule and test for
at PSI test centers - http://lacityfirefighter.psiexams.com
Register for the FCA
FCA testing from February 22, 2016 – July 15, 2016
Achieve a passing score; then apply online
Online City Application begins May 1, 2016 – July 15, 2016
The Firefighter job bulletin and all information on the FCA,
including cost, tutorial assistance, the registration process, and
low-income waiver qualification is available at:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
U.S. High School diploma or equivalent, G.E.D. or equivalent for a U.S.
institution, or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE)
Achievement of a passing score on the Firefighter Candidate Assessment
(FCA)
Provide proof of current passing score on the CPAT during the field
investigation and at time of certification for hiring consideration
Valid California Driver’s License required at time of appointment
Valid EMT certificate prior to appointment
