Our FBC Sumrall Nicaragua Mission team is preparing for their upcoming trip. Door to door

evangelism is a big part of this outreach. The team needs donations to share with families as they share the Gospel. If you can donate any of the following items, please bring them by the church office or put them

in the box outside the office door. Ladies’ scarves (lightweight), pkgs. Of men’s handker-

chiefs, children's sunglasses, candy or gum (non-melting).

DEACON NOMINATIONS - The month of May is set aside for our church family to have the opportunity to nominate men for deacon election which will take place on the third Sunday morning in August (August 21st). Ballot forms are available in the foyer.

The team will also be putting on a VBS for the children of LaLibertad. If you would like to contribute to this project, we are in need of craft supplies.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

There will be a Smoked Chicken Plate fundraiser to benefit the mission teams on Satur-day, May 14. Tickets are available from team members or the church office. Also, we will host a “RIDE FOR MISSIONS” motorcycle ride that same day. If you ride, or

know someone who does, share this information. Flyers are posted throughout our build-ings, as well as on our Facebook page. You may also call the office for more information.

Everyone is invited to the Sumrall Prayer Breakfast on May 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Sum-rall United Methodist Church. Rep. Brad Touchstone will be the guest speaker. We will recognize Sumrall Citizen to the Year, Sumrall Educator of the Year, and award scholar-ships. The event is put on each year by the Sumrall Development Foundation.

GA Camp - Registration forms must be turned in by May 11. All campers need to make a $25 payment towards the camp fee. Checks need to be made payable to FBC Sumrall. Contact Joanne Marsh at 601.270.0604 if you have any questions.
