and Sports & Arts Camp are just around the

it contains a lot of information about VBS week
and things your child needs to know about VBS

day of VBS, the missions project, information
about the offering and our secret agent costume

pickup from VBS and family night on Wednesday

Mission Trip to Athens
Creating a Road Home has begun a partnership with a refugee center in Greece. Would you join us as we minister to those in need? Space is very limited, so if you’re interested in going, please return the attached application along with your deposit payment of $600 and a copy of your passport as soon as possible.
The refugee center is focused on community needs in Athens, Greece. -Providing hot meals/Bags of Groceries -ESL Lessons/Greek Language Lessons -Job Search Assistance -Children’s Classes -Bible Studies/Worship Services
What’s it all about? Join us as we minister to refugees on the streets of Athens. Throughout the trip, you will have the opportunity to participate in leading ESL classes, preparing and serving meals, assisting in children's classes, and much more. Athens is home to over a million refugees, and this is an exciting opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ to people that so desperately need it.

-The deposit of $600 is due upon enrollment, the second installment of $800 is due June 1st,2014, and the final installment of $795 is due August 1st, 2014. **Attach a copy of your passport to this application (front two page spread)** Airfare to and from Athens and hotel accommodations are included as well as breakfast and dinner daily while in Greece beginning with dinner on October 11th, 2014 and concluding with breakfast October 18th, 2014. What's Not Included: Travel Expenses and Lunch throughout trip. We recommend $10-15 per person, per meal; passports (must be valid for six months from the end of the trip); insurance (travel insurance policy available for purchase by individual. Since the trip cost is non-refundable, we HIGHLY recommend insurance.) Travelex Insurance is one such option www.travelexinsurance.com; expenses resulting from accident or illness; loss of or damage to luggage; items of a personal nature; expenses resulting from delays caused by strikes, political disputes, or acts of God. Transportation: Will be handled via Metro System, participants will be responsible for the Metro Ticket Purchase. Baggage: We request that you bring with you only one piece of checked luggage not to exceed 50 pounds plus one carry-on piece that must fit under the seat. Documentation: Passengers are required to have a passport that is valid for six months from the end of the trip in order to enter Greece. Cancellation and Refunds: The trip is non-refundable.
