Sunday February 1st we will have a Super Bowl Party in the Annex. Bring your favorite snack foods and sodas to share with everyone.  Kickoff is at 5:30 so start showing up at 5:00. We look forward to watching the game with you.

Greeter Ministry Lunch & TrainingFebruary 1 at 12:15We are looking to expand our greeter ministry to both services and before Bible Study on Sunday mornings.  The only spiritual gifts you need to have are a warm smile and a friendly spirit!  If you are interested in serving as a greeter, or already serving as a greeter, we invite you to come to an orientation/time of training for this ministry on February1.  We will meet for lunch after second service.   If you have any questions please contact Pastor Gary or the church office.Sign up at the Welcome Center.  

Wild Game DinnerMark your calendars for Saturday, February 7th at 5:30 PM. We will be hosting a Wild Game Carry-in Dinner and fellowship time. This is a great opportunity to invite un-churched friends

or relatives to a friendly church activity.

Name TagsThe church will be purchasing Name Tags for church members who work in church ministries. Name tags are important to our efforts to be a friendly and welcoming church. When new people attend they are much more comfortable asking questions when they can approach someone whom they can identify by name and position. There is a sign-up sheet on the welcome center for you to sign up for a name tag. Just print your name and the ministry you would like listed on the name tag. If you work in multiple ministries just pick one for the name tag.

Message from Financial Management TeamAll church members should be aware that the Financial Management Team has requested that all spending by committees be curtailed until further notice.  The balance in the checking account is way below normal, and we must reserve those monies for essential expenditures. 

Missions Trip Opportunity A group from our local Association will be going to Turkey September 14-24 to serve alongside missionaries and see some historical, biblical sites.  The trip will be led by Nick Drake, Pastor of Richland Baptist Church and former IMB missionary to Turkey.  If you are interested there will be an informational meeting Monday, February 2 at 7:30 p.m at Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City.  If you can’t make this meeting but would still like more information and/or might be interested in going, talk to Pastor Gary or contact Nick Drake (573-416-3195 or nick@myrichland.org). 

Life Network of Central Missouri Welcomes . . .Award winning author and speaker Ruth Graham (daughter of Billy Graham) to the 24th Annual Banquet on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Holiday Inn Executive Center, Columbia, MO. Proceeds will benefit Life Network of Central MO and My Life Clinic. Seating is limited.
